It was ready key was in unit. But I got held hostage ЁЯджЁЯП╜тАНтЩАя╕ПЁЯд╖ЁЯП╜тАНтЩАя╕ПЁЯШВЁЯШВ I was still unloading after 9pm didnтАЩt get finished until like 12:30 -1am and my Code would not work to let me out had to call 1-800 for them to allow us out it wasnтАЩt funny when it happen. But itтАЩs funny now ЁЯШВЁЯШВ we was held hostage in the gate

It was clean and well lit. I wish they would have told us about the need for insurance over the phone when we called. Other than that this was an easy process as Bob, the frontdesk employee, made me feel welcome and helped us pick the right unit for our needs.

Looking for a new place for storage? Best to look somewhere relatively new. This facility is clean and secure, offers a wide selection of unit types and is easy to access. Rates are also more affordable than places I've dealt with in the past. Good overall experience.

Due to a covid 19 situation, I had to quickly find a storage facility for some of my products. I showed up after making an online reservation and was promptly greeted by a friendly staff member. He showed me the facility and quickly completed the paperwork. The facility is clean and very professionally operated. Very happy with everything so far.

The staff was nice and very helpful. However, once you arrive you are told you have to get one of their locks and purchase their insurance. So the amount you are out of pocket is definitely more than you are quoted online.

Bob and Jan make an awesome team to deal with regarding storage needs. Not only were they very helpful with information and recommendations, but also assist making sure that everything goes as planned. The costs were clearly explained and everything flowed like clockwork.

Jan, the friendly, professional, pleasant employee gets a 5!!! Our experience on our first visit (obtaining the storage space) was not a good one at all (the clerk was not Jan for that visit), very unpleasant and we planned on never coming back. However, upon clearing out our storage space and closing our account, Jan made it a really pleasant experience. Even her payment reminder phone calls were delightful. If we had a business, we would steal her as an employee! Just a wonderful lady!

Jan is wonderful manager who goes beyond the call of duty to help her customers. I so appreciated her concern and hospitality last month as I waited for a locksmith, finding that I had called one of the many scam companies!!! After 3 hours of waiting, The Birmingham Locksmith Service came to my rescue. Apparently locksmith scammers are quite common. Beware!! My greatest compliments to Jan as she saw me through to a successful move out! The warmth of her office and personality made a big difference!

I have had a storage unit full of cherished family heirlooms at this Royal Oak location for years and Jan has always helped me with any questions I've had. I've had to maintain this unit from across the country and I have to say, Jan has always made everything easy and seamless for me which is much appreciated when you live out of state. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a trusted storage space. And ask for Jan!! She will take good care of you!

If you start storage before the first of the month, your receipt cannot be intuitively followed to check the math. It is incredibly complicated and could be laid out in a more streamline fashion. The current layout screams that Public Storage is scamming customers because many customers give up on checking the math.

We are using PS for a unit while we are transitioning from one house to another. We stop in whenever we are out that way to drop off a few boxes. Their hours are great, the self serve gate is secure and easy. I would highly recommend them.
