Public Storage - Huntsville - 1224 Old Monrovia Road

Everything is good with this unit. I subtracted half a star only because I would prefer a little more lighting

With the way things are I found it simple to obtain a storage room and move in without any fears

Came in the store was looking to rent a unit for next month when Paris and Beth told me the contactless rental online, so I definitely will be using the online rental, they were helpful, informational, and very nice customer service. I will be renting online soon !

Facilities are clean and people are great

Ms. Kim was a wonderful person to work with. She made the experience so easy. I was hot and tired. She walked me through the process. She was very warm and friendly. She was the perfect example of excellent customer service.

Everything was great but i bought a lock from the store in another state before i came here and when i got here you made me buy another one and now im stuck with a lock and out of 20 dollar cus i cant return it and i was force to buy insurance also. I didnt expect any of that at all so when they say 1 for the 1st month they mean 70 dollars.

I was warned not to use Public Storage. I rented a 10x10 unit. I thought I knew best how to choose. I was certainly wrong. Nothing beats experience. I would have movers transfer my property today but its freezing and raining. I was provided a number for the district manager but after three messages left for her, I finally realized that's an exercise in futility. When trying to communicate with some woman I could not understand Lord knows where she advised me that the bottom line was risk of having my property auctioned. Im not behind on rent..this month's rental fee is paid. The rental fee did jump way up after the original agreement. I'll give the same good advice I received...don't rent there......Pay attention or don't. I didn't. The unit I rented is on Leeman Ferry Rd, Huntsville, Alabama. The people who work there are nice folks but have no control the company or that district manager.

I will recommend this because one of the employees, tyler, he gave me wonderful service and he gave very concise answers to all the questions I asked him.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. The staff is extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me with all the questions and concerns I had when I was renting my first storage unit. Not only that both employees I spoke with were very knowledgeable and offered up several unsolicited tips to help me protect my belongings from any damage that could possibly occur while they are being stored. If you need a hassle-free storage unit, this is the place for you. Guaranteed!!! 2 thumbs, way up!!!

For one, our light bulb is blowed after we asked to replace it. Two, we were locked in and our code was not working. When we talked to customer service they were talking so rude to us. Three, we were leaving at 9:01 and got locked in. We understand your hours of operation and respect the security of the place but we had a huge load and was trying to move as fast as possible and got locked in literally 1 minute after closing and was locked in for about 30 minutes. What made it so bad it was someone in the upstairs office and didn't acknowledge us at all. We had no one to come check on lot like most storage facilities do before locking someone in. We've had it for about 3 days now and a new problem everyday so far ... One thing that was good was the labor day sale! We moved in for 50% off the original price so that was great!

Recently began renting a small unit (studio-1 bedroom) from this location so far so good, there are several positives I'd like to share. Pros: great customer service amazing promotional offers (savings) property is well maintained Cons: hidden fees that may or may not be disclosed (in my case it was concerning hidden fees concerning a promotional offer) As it stands I recommend Public Storage at Old Monrovia Rd to others, however I plan to update my review after collecting my items to provide a better informed review on the company and my experience.

All I can say is WOW! Today I came in to Public Storage in a very bad mood. (Pending a horrible divorce) As soon as I came in I was greeted with two friendly faces. Their humor is really what made my day. Tyler was exceptional and Pre'K is what put the icing on the cake! I will make sure I recommend all my friends and business friends here to the Old Monrovia location!

I was out of town and forgot about my storage bill being due You helped me get this taken care of and I really appreciate all the help that I received.
