Lady at the counter, Mandy, was a complete B. Acted like we were bugging here by coming in? Had to practically beg to be shown vacant units and in the end decided making her rent us a unit wasn't worth it whatsoever. Get new staff!

Anthony is great very understandable and understanding guy

I stored my brand new cargo trailer and was nervous to store it, but after touring the facility, I feel comfortable that my trailer will be safe and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends.

They are so friendly and work with you. They make sure that you are taken care of and notified about everything.

We feel are storeage is secure and we have reasonable access thereto.

American Self Storage East has been our go to self storage place for over 20 years. The customer service has always been excellent. We feel completely safe while there and theyﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve kept our junk safe too. The facility is clean and has been freshly painted every few years. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s too bad that the rent keeps going up, however. I would definitely recommend my friends to my storage place!

Management is great!! Very helpfull to resolve any issues. They are very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The facility, inside and out, is kept very clean and presentable. It is a really GREAT storage facility.

The site manager was helpful in getting me squared away with the paperwork. She was forth coming with the questions I had such as their safety record. I feel confident the facility is secure and that the site manager and owners are aware of who is coming and going. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s easy to get to from the 202 which is convenient. The pricing is reasonable as well. Thank you!

I used this facility another time in the past and am using it now because past experience was so good. It is just as good now as it was then. Maintenance makes sure that everything is running right and looks good and that there are no safety issues. Front desk personnel are friendly. I like the lock down security and that management lives on the grounds. It is also close to where I live. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed to store.

i have been a customer for more than 10 years and have seen multi fee increases to which there is no other reason than corp profit margin. i recently moved out of 1 of my units because of that and am now looking to do the same with my 1 unit left this is not rental housing and from what i have seen over the years nothing has dramatically changed on site to cause these increases as even the interior coolers do not work that good and that is part of what i am paying for.

the prices rise every time you turn around i have been a customer for many years and i cant see why the prices keep going up for nothing every changing the units still get alot of dirt and dust in them no difference i am complaining

They are the best price for my needs. There was an issue with reserved spot and they handled it fast and effectively. Very please with the location and service received.

This facility is close to our Senior Living home and when we downsized from our house in another state needed to store items we couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t decide what to do with.

The manager and staff are super professional and friendly. I always feel my stuff is watched out for here. The office, entrance and grounds are well maintained and super clean. The prices are very low for the service and security I receive. I wish I knew tons of people in need of storage because I would refer them all here.

Pleasant staff, always helpful

Jenny is awesome and her ability to work with people makes it more enjoyable to go there. I also feel that the items I have stored there are just as secure as if I had them with me.

Facility is well lit at night and well taken care of. Have used for over five years and store plastic bottles for my business. The evaporative cooling works well for the plastic products. I have not had any problem with dust or bugs getting into the empty bottles.

Decent storage for the cost. It's close to where I moved to, so it's convenient. It is apparent that it's an older facility. Knowing what I now know, I would ask if the facility is 'climate controlled' or air conditioned. This Facility is 'climate controlled' which just means swamp coolers - i'm not a fan, and makes it miserable to need to do something in the unit in the summer. Also, the indoor storage is dark. It would be really awesome if there were motion sensor lights, or something like that throughout the facility - even in the storage rooms. The staff is all very kind, friendly and easy to do business with.

I have rented on 2 occasions. Kenny has been accomodating, friendly, and helpful throughout the years I have rented. She is always friendly, offers a bottle of water, and has made the recent transition from 1 unit to another, seamless! I wouldn't consider another storage even if cost was less and closer to my home. We have had the storage for several years. Like the idea of climate controlled as we leave our bicycles over the summer so the tires are protected. We are snowbirds so it works well for us and we live in a motorhome so we are able to leave a lot of stuff behind.

My experience with American Self Storage has always been very positive. The workers are always very helpful and understanding. I may not like the price sometimes but everything is going up in price and it is understandable that their prices have to go up too. I would certainly recomend this facility to others.

I am very pleased with my climate controlled storage room. The only thing I would suggest is for the in door units to have some kind of light inside the units. Maybe on a timer. The staff is very kind and always helpful. I would recommend this place to others

I've dealt with storage areas for decades. I owned a seasonal business that seemed to operated in different locations every Christmas Season. That means I've dealt w/ numerous storage companies over the years. I now operate a home based business selling on E-Bay and Amazon. I have 4 units at this facility, some going back to 2010. Never any issues. I notice the little touches absent from other facilities I've been in over the years. Things like candy in the office and water bottles if needed are a sign the operators want tenants to feel appreciated.

Becoming much too expensive to afford

Way too hot inside when paying so much for indoor storage. Hard to work on moving things when it is so hot. We have been wanting to clean out things and get a smaller unit because the price is more than we agreed in the beginning to pay as it was raised. The main problem is the temperature inside. It is way too hot inside to get any work done without feeling like you are going to pass out.

No complaints ever. If payment doesn't go throu on auto pay. They are diligent about getting a hold of me.. customer service is great!

Sorry to be negative review, but they're raising their prices for the second time since I've rented here.

I can begin again and I have my back against the wall here, with the positive energy and messages I get with my mother's Bible n study guides. We love the service we receive at American Storage. It's close to our home, and very convenient.

I have had a unit here for 8 years. The facility is always clean and the staff is very helpful, welcoming and professional. My unit is in the climate controlled section and my sister who had used another company said the climate control at American self storage was true climate control, the best she had found anywhere in the country. I will continue to keep my unit there as long as I need it.

I feel comfortable leaving my stuff there because it is well secured and climate controlled.

The manager was awesome !! I had easy access to the unit I was renting... I had no bug or rodent problems... and I even got a discount on the unit because I rented a truck from them to move my stuff !!

I amVERY VERY impressed with this facility. They have an "I care" approach. They have so many different people to deal with. They have probably heard EVERY situation imaginable. It's doesn't just seen like a JOB to this particular team of East Mesa. The actually listen, help YOU to the best of their ability. Not to just sell, or up sell, or just fill their units. They were a bright little spot in an otherwise very dark time. THANK YOU EVERYONE AT EAST MESA AMERICAN STORAGE.

Decent office hours, price on par with others in the area. Only gripe is no restroom anymore inside the facility, only in office.

I had an issue with my boat trailer tire. Jennifer gave me a call right away to inform me. I was out of town and I really appreciated the call. I feel very confident that my boat is in good hands. I'm a long time customer and i will always use Amercan for my storage needs. Thank you.

Service has been professional, a few road bumps but not problems. Facility is adequate, not fancy. Feel like I get a reasonable value for my money. Have had problem converting from my daughter's name to mine as she rented it on my behalf originally.

I ve been storage renting locally since 2003. I have moved everything to American because of their A customer service and trust in their customers. It surpasses the chain storages and prices stay steady and reasonable. The UHAUL service is a bonus and generous with suggestions to accommodate move in/out, electric hours, etc. it is an oldie but goodie storage facility!

Unit is clean however I'd like the price to be a little less than what I pay. Overall the customer service makes it worth the price.

I have had a very good experience with this location! I chose to rent here because when I was, I spoke with the property manager and she was very accommodating. The last place I was at sent me through a call center and was shocked at the on site service I received. Here I always get to talk to someone and they are always helpful and friendly.

I have used AMERICAN SELF STORAGE- EAST for several years now, & I wouldn't think about ever using a different place! I have an inside unit & it's the cheapest I found.... but they also have the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! & they always have a fun monthly drawing where u can win money off of your bill! If your looking for a storage facility, you should give them a try! ;)

I am pleased to write this. From the initial PO home call, I was happy with the service. I was greeted friendly and was told about all the services I would be receiving. Also, what a great price on the storage room. Overall , I rate the two ladies that helped me a 11 out of a 10. They cared . I had just left public storage in North Phoenix. A more convenient in-out arrangement from the big building would be nice. The door chains are OK but the incline is a nuisance to deal with. So what are the "Review Terms and Conditions?"

I looked for a while for a temperatured storage unit. The prices everywhere were way to high but this place is perfect! It's clean and I'm satisfied.

The managers were very nice. I was going throw a hard time, losing my husband and my mother in one month. Had my daughter move in with me and needed a place to store some of her stuff. I told them what we had to store and the gave us the right size storage unit. The unit was clean and so was the outside. Not a lot of trash around. It made me real good about leavening my daughters house stuff there. Thank you

I've been using this storage facility off and one for the last 3 years. I've never had a problem and the staff is nice to work with. Prices are great and getting storage capacity when needed has never been a problem.

Moving into a storage facility can be frustrating and a lot of work. It's important to have a clean facility and a convenient location, however, often the quality of the management is overlooked. The unit I was assigned was locked - easy mistake - they immediately addressed the problem. Basically no wait for the problem to be solved. I was happy about that. So overall a very good experience.

We had to get a second storage unit, so we thought. We paid for it but there is a no refund policy in place. I didn't read the fine print, I guess. We are closing on our new house today butt have the unit for a few more weeks. The movers will be here on Sunday, Dec 1st.

I reserved my unit online during the weekend while the office was closed. The business day when I was scheduled to move in I received a call and voice message from the office to remind me of my reservation and to inform me of a special price available at the time. When I arrived and filled out the paperwork, it was easy and quick. I received a free lock for my storage unit and a special price that is good for three months. I am a very satisfied customer.
