The staff was very helpful, accommodating and quick. The unit was nice and clean.

My belongings were in excellent condition after I took them back out of this facility after a few months. No sign of any evironmental issues. Always clean. The Customer Service representative always remembered me and was helpful with anything I needed. Ifelt confident my belongings were safe as well as accessable. I highly recomment this location.

The reason I gave them a 1 star on the pricing is because they raised the price on us 6 months after we rented a unit and were never informed of the price increase. We only knew about it because we saw it on our bank statement.

close to home, good prices security is ok

I have been a client here since 2002. In 2008 we acquired a second unit. Always took advantage of their pay a year in advance and get one month free. Rate increases were "reasonable" (0-$10) UNTIL the current owners purchased the property!! Between 2013-2014 our unit went up $20/mo (8.03%) and we have just been notified it is now going up again $30/mo (11.15%). They have the ability to raise your rate 2x/year. The on-site management has no negotiating power and have found Corporate to be unresponsive. They seem more focused on incentives for "new clients" than keeping loyal, pay-in-advance or who pay on-time.

I've never rented a storage space before, but I'm pretty sure my experience trying to set up my storage unit at Arovista was as bad as it could be. The staff there were trying to be helpful, but both were brand new on the job - only 2 days each - and had no idea how to overcome even the slightest hurdle. During my time there the printer had an issue with the toner, the computer had to be rebooted, they couldn't figure out how to put me into the system, once they got me into the system the gate code for me as well as the guy ahead of me didn't work, and 2 different people who came in to pay their monthly fee had to be turned away because it was taking so long to get me and the other guy up to speed. I know the staff was trying their best, but the manager who put two new people on the job on a Saturday morning with only telephone support is an idiot.

Professional but also friendly and inviting - the right mix!

Lets just say, never been late, never a complainer till now....I have had my rent increase for what? The property managers tell me like a recording that I have to come up to what the current rates are today, which as I have continuously told them that this is now what I want to hear, is there another reason why...and it is not fair that I have to pay the price today verses what I paid for a few years back. This is not fair, people that come to get storage today should pay todays prices but why make tenants that have had storage for years have to pay todays prices? That is absurb and not an answer. The property managers tell me to email them and they will forward to Management and I have and I have yet to hear from anyone...which is why I am writing this complaint. I have emailed them almost every month and have not heard anything yet!, I guess they cannot think of any other reason to tell me other than "We have to bring you up to todays prices"...a recording...So when you go to the storage facility and they give you a good deal, ask them about the increases and why and see what they tell you...I would like to know about anyone out there that is in same situation...I live in Brea and would like to hear from anyone else.
