Public Storage - Carlsbad - 2815 Caribou Ct

I left several message regarding my key code not working. Even if the office was closed for the holiday, I expected a call back first thing and after the fourth message, I got a call at 10:30 am-an hour after the office hours listed. Even then, I was given a temporary passcode due to some technical problems with new leases. I am in the technology business and I understand technical issues. If someone would have called me back in a timely fashionI wouldn’t be so annoyed.

I was having a hard time figuring out what size storage unit I needed and Stacey spoke to me several different times to help me determine. I ended up with the perfect size for my stuff and she was attentive and available to help make move-in day easy. She even made sure to check in before going on her lunch break to make sure we were doing ok. Truly great customer service and I really appreciated it. After having such nice conversations on the phone I was actually excited to meet her in person!

On the day of move in the lock wasn't working correctly. The manager was too busy to assist so I went and purchased another lock. Then a day later I called to speak with her and she said I have to go back and change lock she doesn't take appointments I just have to find her while she is making her rounds.

Does anyone present on the premises? I would like to submit insurance paperwork but the doors are always locked during open hourd

Good clean facility efficient operations. The app almost never works for getting in and out of the facility. We are in a free market economy.....same storage unit one year later 100 bucks more per month!

I forgot the name of the clerk you have working in office but I must say he was so accommodating and nice to me that night I've been going through a rough time and he absolutely made me laugh and made my experience delightful when I left thank you so much for hiring him he is absolutely an excellent asset to your company

Check in was easy, and access and location has been goid

They have more advanced features than most storage facilities, such as using app on phone to unlock/open nearby gate/door/elevator. Only problem is, any time you want to get in the door to the building, it prioritizes the elevator, so you're standing at the door pressing "open" on your phone, and the inside elevator opens instead of the door to the building. So then you have to go enter the code on the box. Basically makes the quick-open feature of the app useless. Also, the loading area by the door is pretty tight--room for only 2 cars plus handicapped spot. And I know storage facilities can attract "interesting" people, but when I unloaded, there was a guy parked at the door entrance BLARING 70s music from his car while occupying one of the few carts and fixing a kite in his car. For like an hour. Like it hurt my ears every time I came to get a load from my car.

Easy move it up unable to access restoration online prior to moving in

Moved in a few days ago and was happy with how well kept and secure the place seems. I was not a fan of the required insurance at an additional cost per month. It was something I was not aware of when signing up online nor was it mentioned when I received a call from the facility to confirm my reservation. Thereﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s also an app that you can apparently use to access the doors and gates but mine does not work. Other than that the unit it very clean, plenty big enough for my belongings, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Management followed up with us to make sure everything was good. Unit was clean and dry even after a major rainstorm.

wold book here again, public storage website app and customer service though is a hassle

Good set up, easy to move in,

The facility had only one hand cart for the entire place. Multiple people needed to use it at the same time. That is unacceptable for a storage facility

It was a bit time consuming finding our space on our own, but the manager came to help us and she was awesome. Very friends and helpful. After that it was easy to go from our car to the space.
