We had originally booked somewhere else and immediately changed our minds when we showed up. With the moving truck loaded and on a time crunch to get it unloaded and returned I was scrambling. The gal at StaxUp Chula Vista ran around to find me the perfect unit and was so helpful! She saved the day for sure.

We were looking for a storage unit online and found this place through Sparefoot. They have an online promotion where the first month is free and you get a $20 Amazon gift card as well if you are an AAA member. We thought the prices were reasonable so we ended up going to look at them. Gary greeted us with a friendly smile and offered to show us multiple storage unit options for what we were looking for. He made the process very simple and easy for us. We ended up picking out the best one and we really appreciated all of his help. Looks like a very secure area (has cameras everywhere and you need a code to get in past a certain time), has reasonable pricing, and great customer service from Gary. Definitely recommend this storage place. Access hours are 7am-10pm everyday. P.S. If you check in you get a free large moving box.

found the property online and applied as directed.. from the customer service rep who took my request and set up my appointment to the friendly staff at the facility.. i was treated with professionalism and dignity which absolutely won me over. There were zero surprises with the rental pricess.... I was cheerfully shown and quickly selected my space..signed the paperwork and was given AAA discount of first month free rent! Winning!

The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. There is sometimes a wait (approx. 15 to 20 mins) to get a box and lift to get stuff to the second floor.

I feel that my belongings are very safe from weather as well as from theft. I also have not seen any signs of pests. I don't want to acquire any pests when I bring my belongings home!

Hard to beat these prices anywhere in San Diego. No elevator for second story units but there is forklift access during the day where someone will assist you in lifting your belongings to the correct floor.

I had my stuff in the chula vista location for approx 8 months. When I came on May 1st to empty it out to move into my new home, my unit was infested with rats. They destroyed my brand new 3000.00 mattress, clothes, furniture, family pictures etc. I had insurance but apparently it did not cover rodents. Which is apparently a common problem there I had no idea about. Even though I moved out on the 1st and had all this happen, they still made me pay the full amount for my rent that month. Makes no sense. I unfortunately would never recommend this place to anyone.

There is dog poop everywhere!! cars just run over it, the management has at least one dog, so it loose. Younger attendant extremely rude.
