This facility serves the communities in and around Walnut Creek, Danville, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Ygnacio Valley, and Mt. Diablo. Open 7 days a week, this clean, well-lit facility has extra wide elevators to upper level units, state-of-the-art security including personal computerized gate access and video cameras in key areas. We offer month-to-month leases, competitive rates and no deposit required. We provide courtesy carts to make your move easier, and our professional resident managers are available to assist you. Weve got personal and business storage solutions to fit any need or budget. Storage Made Simple Gate Access Hours: 7AM to 7PM. We sell boxes and moving supplies. *First Month's Rent Free applies to base rent only. Fees, including a one-time administrative fee (29) and a monthly recurring Protection Plan payment (16) due upon move-in. Occupants are automatically enrolled in the Protection Plan but may opt-out of participation and obtain a refund of the Protection Plan payment by completing a form and providing proof of insurance within 30 days of signing the Self-Storage Agreement (as more particularly set forth therein). I've never rented a storage unit before, so I don't have anything to compare this experience to. Pricing seems much higher to other storage facilities in the area when comparing online, but the location, security, and cleanliness of this facility are great. They have storage carts and large elevators which made moving in easy. There is an additional $8/month charge for mandatory insurance, a $22 setup fee, and you have to purchase a barrel lock for $13, all which are not included in the SpareFoot quote.

The people are super friendly and helpful. We got a tour and introductions to some of the other staff. Security is what we had hoped for. Would have liked to have heat/cooling in the building, but they don't have that. Since we'll only be there until spring, we're fine with the facility as-is.

Lisa was fantastic. I had called directly to ask her how to get to the facility. She gave me directions, then called me back to let me know that I needed to take the Rossmore exit. Although she was the only person working in the office, she was personable and very efficient at bouncing back and forth between several customers at a time. Thank you Lisa for great service! I would appreciate carts with breaks. The pavement in the loading area is angled for drainage, so my cart kept rolling away when I was trying to load it, it even rolled into my car! It's next to impossible to maneuver a heavy box while trying to keep your foot on a cart so it doesn't roll away and not fun to reach be standing there with a heavy box only to see your cart 5' away and rolling. Not good. Also, please provide more carts. I had to walk to the next loading area because all the carts were in use. This happened two days in a row. How come the walls in the units are angled? Makes it hard to maximize placement of items, especially in earthquake country. I've got stuff stacked way high with no solid wall contact to support it. I'm uneasy.
