Public Storage - Canoga Park - 21321 Vanowen St

This was my first time renting a storage unit. The overall experience was ok. A few things left for improvement are: the light inside the unit didn't work or there was no way to turn it on this made my going in and out dark and creepy, the app used to operate the elevator looses signal in the elevator so I had to keep going back out of the elevator to get it to reconnect, also it was my first time there, I was unfamiliar with how everything worked so I ended up leaving the facility a few minutes after closing. I got both an email and a text from Public Storage asking me to leave before closing and, I was like, can I get a break? It was my first time, I didn't think it was that big of a deal!

Navigating and making the reservation for the space was pretty good but the web site would not let me finalize the rental using a credit card. However Nan at the facility was very helpful with getting the contract finalized and payment organized.

I reserved my unit online and it was incredibly easy to do. The website gives examples of what size storage unit you may need based on what you are storing which was very helpful. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs.
