We just moved in yesterday. All went well. It was nice to have the dolly and the freight elevator.

The place is accessible. I just wish you also have locks available for purchase so it would be more convenient for customers :)

It was easy to get our unit and even easier to put our belongings in our unit! The carts and machine that lifts up our stuff to the second level was so helpful!

Such a great price for the storage unit. Also a great location. The elevator situation needs some kind of improvement. Had a bit of a hard time loading some of my bigger items on there did not make it easy.

this place has rats and the manager only offered me 1 month free rent he refused to provide me headquarters phone number . The manager offered for me to sue him w/out any hesitation . went through insurance and it didnt even cover half the amount from what i lost of what it was worth

overall its clean..its the area that isn't cool... Works for me!

I got my unit online, and the associate was very helpful and attentive! I do not remember his name but he definitely lifted my day up with his friendly tone. Rich is the manager at the building, heﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s a bit soft spoken but a good guy.

This storage unit was very accessible to get to. The company had carts and dollyﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s to use at my convenience. If I need help moving some of my stuff in they lend me a hand. Over all this place get 5 stars.

Nickﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ the manager on duty was very friendly, informative and very helpful. The place itself needs better sanitation and cleaning, and better loading carts.. I personally had to sweep rat poop out of my unit after paying the initial admin fee and first monthﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s rent (I have video and pictures) Spaces were as advertised, and location seems okay.

Very affordable and convenient.

It's not fancy, but this place is perfect for what I need it for. Its enclosed and no access from outside made me feel more comfortable about it. Has plenty of dollys and flats to help you move all your stuff. So far it is a great find!

Great price, helpful staff, building a little worn down. Tight corners, narrow hallways.

The older gentleman who helped me was patient enough as he showed me several different sizes. I do wish overall it was better lit.

StorCal Self Storage in Chatsworth is reasonably priced and easy to locate. The reservation process was efficient. The manager was knowledgable and accomodating. He provided concise answers to my questions about the contract and facility without sounding driven by the sale. The tenants were friendly and helpful. StorCal Self Storage is not a luxury facility. The inside appears older and worn. The lighting is poor. The hallways of units are narrow and difficult to maneuver with equipment. The 2nd floor flooring appears to be some type of wood. Regardless, StorCal Is reasonably priced, located on a spacious lot, and provided a basic no frills storage unit.

The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful and accommodating. The process was quick and prices are fair and the cheapest I found in the area. Unit access is all inside and monitored. Insurance and locks available at reasonable prices.

Everything was good except the quality of facility. Hand-held carts were not working well and easy. I wish they could provide new carts.

It was fast and easy to rent the perfect storage for my needs. The customer service was professional, friendly, and straight forward. There were plenty of moving carts available to facilitate storage. The price was the best price in Ventura County during the time I shopped around. I recommend this fantastic storage facility for anyone who likes to save money, and likes having security and piece of mind.

A water vending machine on premises would be nice

We moved some of our things into a storage unit on a Sunday. The Chatsworth facility was well-stocked with carts & dollies and the lifts were easy to use.

I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The experience was great and fast considering i was on a time crunch to get all my dorm stuff moved quickly. The staff was extremely helpful. The price i was quoted over the phone was the same in person. I would recommend this facility to friends and family in the Northridge, Chatsworth, Reseda area definitely.

Moving is always rough, but So Cal Storage of Chatsworth went above and beyond their duties of making sure I was taken care of and that things transfered smoothly. They were unlike any other moving/storage facility I have rented from. I feel lucky I was able to rent a storage unit here. They beat everyone's price, style, and most imoirtantly attitude! Get yours before it's too late:)

I was in a hurry and the manager Richard was super polite, quick and professional. Storage is always funky, but this place feels safe and clean. Very good experience. Close enough to Winnetka exit 101 for me.

I had a reservation to move into a storage unit and when I arrived to check in, I was led to three separate units before we found one that actually was not occupied. Floors are rickety, felt like they might give out but the price of the unit was the best around...now I know why.

Overall a decent place at a great rate to store your stuff. The lifts are easy enough to use and even the 2nd floor location was not an issue.

I was actually suspicious when i saw the price including the initial discount. Not to worry. It was accurate and I'm very satisfied with our choice.

Was tricked by the coupon advertising...false illusion that you pay $1 first month :( One of the customer reps behind counter was very unfriendly and had attitude. The other two were very professional tho by contrast. There's was bits of litter and crap on the ground going into storage building. I feel you are way over priced and I resent that. sorry

It's a nice space. The hardest and most frustrating thing is that they don't have actual elevators. They have lifts and it was hard to fit large items in them.

My load-in was fast and easy with the two lifts, carts, and hand-trucks. The bay is wide, making it easy to offload small things and set them aside and move everything in as I wanted to. Recommended.

There aren't elevators to get to the second floor. They have two lifts. So you load on to the lift send it up then walk up the stairs. So moving to a second floor unit can take a while. The lighting is poor with most of the 4' florescent bulbs are out. BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THERE PRICES!

Far out but you can't beat the price. The storage locker was perfect for what I needed.

I'm used to having an overhead door that is plenty wide. This is not the case here. I would guess that the door is 3.5 feet wide.

The first time we went to check it out on Monday, 8/17, it was 5:30 and the person who was there seemed annoyed that we were there because "we are closing in 25 minutes." He did show us a unit but told us we had to come back to set it all up. It seemed to us that we could have taken care of it that day but he was anxious to be done for the day. We left at 5:45 so there still was 15 more minutes to closing. The next day, however, when we came back, a different man was very nice and very helpful.

quick and easy

I compared the price of several different storage facilities, and this location was unbeatable. I went to the unit and it was really clean. My move was scheduled a month and a half later, but they promised me the unit I saw would be available when I needed it. I couldn't figure out how they would be able to keep that promise, but when someone else wanted to rent it, they called me! I begged them to keep it for me, and THEY DID!!! I don't think I could have gotten better service or a better price anywhere!!! These buys are GREAT!

I had a pretty good experience, but not anything too extraordinary. I had a lot of help from the service gentleman to get my belongings out of the unit when i was finished. The whole process was simple and quick, so i have no complaints.

Easy access to units. There are two lifts which make hauling to the second floor easier. A little dim in the halls, and no light inside unit (at least not inside mine). Can't beat the price for what you get.

Smooth transition of tour to paperwork. Needed to get in and out of the facility and the office workers met that need.

The facility looks like an old warehouse but it is very well maintained with a very courteous staff. They are eager to help and make your move in process as easy as possible. I highly recommend this facility.

It's the best price in town but the entry doors are regular sized and the halls have sharp corners. Didn't work for my couch and now I'm looking for an upgrade close by

I made the reservation online which was held until I was ready to move in. No trouble extending the reservation. Very little paperwork which made the whole process very reasonable. They have flat dollies for moving your items to your unit. Two lifts are available for accessing the second floor. I needed daily access as I run an Ebay book business from my home and needed warehouse space for my inventory. They are very accommodating for this need. The ability to come and go without filling out a log each time is very convenient. I appreciated the move-in special and no lease.

First time using storage. It's getting the job done.

My experience with StoreCal Chatsworth, CA has been a great from the very beginning by reserving an affordable unit ahead of time. I like the less paperwork and the tour through to your rented unit and the privacy. I feel secure that my stored items are safe. The price the unit I have is much cheaper than the competitor prices for the same size unit

No problems.... Pretty reasonable storage facility.

Everything was fine except that their computer system was down that whole day so when we showed up they didn't know we had already contacted anybody and made reservations, and they didn't have a way to print out the paperwork or take payment for the unit. Luckily, the guy was nice about it (though I felt like he wanted to turn us away at first) and we ended up writing out a reciept and paying in cash. My only issue was the disconnect between the storage place and the site we went through before we arrived. . . It would have probably been easier to just show up and talk to the employee from the get-go (but he might have completely turned us down if we hadn't already made a reservation so I don't know)

I reserved this unit online, looking for somewhere cheap to stow away my classroom teaching supplies as I retired from teaching. I reserved a 5x5 unit, but upon viewing it, realized it was too small and they were able to accommodate me with the size up for only $5 more a month. Gabriella (I believe that was her name) was helping me and was super friendly, personable and helpful--she offered my fiancé and I cold water and checked in with us periodically during our move in process. They have two freight elevator things to load your stuff on, thought they appear a bit sketchy, they sure get the job done. The place is quiet, almost like a ghost town of sorts--which doesn't really bother me, but it is eerily quiet at the facility. It is clean, easily accessible from the freeway, and totally right for the price. If you need to tuck away some extra stuff and on the cheap--this is the place.

I was very happy with the service I received, the ease of using their equipment and cleanliness of the unit.

It took well over an hour to process my paperwork. The Computers were extremely slow and had to be restarted at some point. The Man helping me was great it wasn't his fault but it shouldn't have taken that long to do. They need new computers! I did try to move in a few days earlier to save time and was assured it would only take 5 minutes to do the paperwork by the Manager herself so I followed what she told me. Next The Unit price on-line didn't include a monthly $10 hidden cost. It was still cheaper than Public Storage but not happy it wasn't shown on there information. The facility is nice I am happy about my move but the process just was just a mess.

Was not impressed with quality of doors on storage unit or with their not being a closed ceiling allowing rats or other animals to get in. I wish the hours were longer as during the week I cannot get there during the open times so it makes it difficult. Other than that it was pretty decent. Staff was nice.

The people there are very nice. The staff was very helpful when I was pretty stressed out. I got a great deal on my unit, and they had a lock at a great price. I hate it when people overprice things they'll know you need. I had a storage here, moved for two moths, and then brought my things right back here.
