A little old school but functional nonetheless

The overall move in process was 55easy enough and the facility is suitable for the few rooms worth of belongings I had.

We are very pleased with our transition to this facility. Very helpful and kind customer service.

This is a no frills storage center but the price can’t beat be beat. The attendant was friendly and knowledgeable- even directed me to the Ace Hardware to buy a lock since I hadn’t been informed I needed to bring my own. The building has one elevator to service all floors and some of the units are a long walk from the entrance - if you can, reserve a first floor unit! Hours are limited and it could be “secure” feeling (e.g. no code needed to use elevator or enter the property) but this was by far the best price I found in the LA area.

The employees were very kind, the storage unit was a great price for the size and central location in the valley. The place looks like it could use some TLC. There is only 1 elevator that is a decent size, but since there is only one for the entire facility, it can be challenging to load and unload large loads. The units are only accessible when the employees are present. Although the place is not climate-controlled, it is indoors so it doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get too hot.

Im so glad I found that place. Super nice reseptionist girl. Very clean and huge storage spot. Prices more than cool!! I have experience with different the storages but that one is really amaizing!! Highly recommended!

I've only been there for a few weeks now, but it was a good price and the building looks secure. Move-in was easy and the staff was friendly. So far so good!

I was on a pretty tight schedule the day I had to move in, so of course when I had get registered for the first time it took almost an hour between waiting for customers before me and doing paperwork. The rep was the only one there but he did a good job of being thorough and attentive. Didn't move as quickly as I would have liked but I'd take that over rushing the process. The building is old but clean.

After shopping around for a storage unit, everything I cam across was way too overpriced. StorCal is extremely reasonable and were running a deal where the first two months were 50 percent off. My unit is clean and easily accessible. Parking is easy and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this to a friend!

There is absolutely no substitute for good (human-provided) customer service. I hope this facility won't go electronic. If it does, I will probably take my business elsewhere.

My move-in to StorCal was quick and easy. My only complaint is that you are not allowed to move big items in after 4:30 pm and they don't stay open past 6 pm.

Our experience was great. I really liked that the staff was very aware of whom was coming and going. I felt my belongings were safe. The property bath rooms included were clean. And they always had plenty of moving equipment in proper working order.

The discount I received for the first 2 months was great and so is my monthly rent. Staff seems courteous and friendly. I recently had to have a lock cut and while most other places make that process the biggest hustle, StorCal were more than accommodating. The only thing that needs improving would be their security or lack there of. It would be nice to have elevator codes, rather than rely on the sign in honor system they use now. So far, no problems though. A-

Insurance is required ($9 month), which is in the fine print on websites, so just know that. At StorCal on Oxnard, the property manager, Clark, personally walked me around to find a unit that fit my needs. The place is well lit (turn on the timer) and while not sparkling white clean, is clean and kept up. The elevator is slow too but overall, the place is secure, clean, safe, and Clark and Joel are very professional and friendly! There is nothing about the place or staff that is bad. They rent U-Hauls too. For an imperfect place, it is the perfect place to go for a lower-cost, yet high-quality storage need.

Great, friendly and easy move in process. No wait time and the staff is super helpful. Setting up automatic bill pay was quick as well!

I had a good experience moving into this storage unit. They had dollies there for us to use and the man working was accomodating even under pressure to help multiple clients. Helped me get a bigger unit for less money.. So kind!

Front desk mgr was awesome! Gave me all knowledge and standards of the place. It took no time doing paperwork and getting the place checked out, before you know it... I was all moved in!!

The first man that I signed up with was very helpful. The facility has a dolly and carts to make the move easier, especially since I am on the second floor. The original unit that I was quoted was not what I expected. This is where the info provided can be improved. The ceiling of the unit quoted to me was a low ceiling. This changed everything for me and I was not able to stick with this unit so it is costing me more money to upgrade to a larger unit to accommodate actual "storage" space. The place is clean and simple. The walls are not finished (I mean painted). It's just finished drywall with sanded white filling in the holes. Still functional, I have just never seen that before. And there are no lights inside the units. Overall, parking is always easy and that is helpful too.

Place is dark and outdated, looks like a dungeon. But if you are looking to save a few bucks it will work for you.

The facility is great. They were very helpful. I only wish that it were open later than 6:00 pm every day. The times are not conducive to a typical work schedule.

I had called three storage companies and selected Stor Cal because Clarke was the clearest speaking and most informative. Due to our conversation I made a reservation. His staff were very professional, helpful and took their time showing me the facility with several storage units to select from. With customers coming in for storage needs, I was never rushed. Convenient, clean and well managed StorCal exceeded my expectations. Also provides great service, a minimal amount of paperwork and given my needs, a very economical storage solution for my needs.

Super easy experience, I reserved online though Sparefoot, they called to let me know they had a reserved unit a week before, and when I called the day before the clerk set us up with a unit closer to the entrance. Staff is very helpful.
