App for opening gate is glitchy. Otherwise, good people, place is clean, convenient.

Nice place to store all my things and car.

I needed a short-term place to store my books, some office furniture, and my sonﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s stuff while he temporarily moves in with me. Public Stooge in Alameda had available space at the right price available immediately.

My only complaint was that my unit was dirty when I got in it; a few rusty nails, a little broken glass, dirt and dust, etc. But my check in was phenomenal. Akiesha went above and beyond our expectations, she was a front desk superstar and made us feel right at home with her excellent customer service and personality.

I am happy that there is an elevator and carts available to move my belongings. However I am sorry to say that somebody cut the lock off my unit and rifled through my belongings; then they put their own lock on!! I had to call the police and found out that somebody else also got their stuff ripped off. The police cut their lock off with the jaws of life and I had to buy a new lock. The bolt that slides into the wall is bent up and the hole I had my lock in was completely cut off and needs to be replaced. When I informed the attendant on duty she was nice enough but did not seem concerned that somebody is ripping people off! I think that PS needs to put cameras on the second floor of this building. But props for being nice people and it is fairly clean. Open long hours helps me to have access to my unit

While the facility is first rate - safe, clean, accessible, cost effective - the true value of Public Storage on Webster St. in Alameda, CA is the great facilities staff: Akiesha, India, and Sabrina. Akiesha has been dealing with us since we started about a year and she is the main reason we have stayed. She is efficient, knowledgeable, fun, and just a fantastic support! India and Sabrina are also truly wonderful people and an asset to Public Storage!

I love the location as it is close to me. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. But the elevator has been broken the past 2 weeks I've come by. It's not completely broken, but getting it to work is problematic. Since I'm on the second floor, I really need the elevator to be working.
