Public Storage - Berkeley - 620 Harrison St

It seemed like regular and normal transaction when I showed up over there but then a few days later when I wanted to move a few items into my space,things got wonky!The guy at the desk kept typing my phone into his computer and nothing came up.It turns out they mixed me up with the person who just moved out of the same unit I just rented?Eventually they found the rental agrrement I filled out but it took some time.

Super clean, super secure. Miguel st sign up was great, and I love the ease of the app to get in and out.

Like that there is good parking directly outside of the storage unit and that it is off the public road with a code to get in. The entry door lock to the block is not functioning and that is why I gave it 4 stars. There is no elevator in the block that my unit is in, probably why it was in the cheaper range for that size. Office staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything went smoothly. I recommend you to add some parking slots near building A or have more tools to help us move our thing

Laurie was very helpful at the Harrison storage facility it was my first time renting a storage she walked me through it very well and I have access to my stuff that I store that nice..It was easy to find overall I'm happy thank you.

The staff were helpful in checking me in, walking me to my unit and explaining the process. Didn't require additional insurance as I was already covered by my renters policy. Helped me find a different unit when the elevator was down for maintenance in the original building. Having an app for opening gates and doors is handy.

The best place in the area clean and close to the freeway

Customer service representative Constance was an absolute gem to work with. Helped reassign us to a much better unit and made our movie in experience top notch.

The facility is clean and the process was easy to check in online. I found access to be easy as well to move in my things over the few days I needed. My only complaint would be there are not enough carts for such a big facility and one of the two carts was kind of broken and more difficult to use.

I believe their conditions are except able for it being a storage facility.

Mina at the front desk was cheerful and very helpful. Unit was as expected.

Had some trouble with the online reservations but was helped by the friendly staff. Really wonderful to have such agreeable people to work with when it's so difficult to do things right now due to Covid-19.

Excellent Customer Service! TheStaff is very professional! They exercise the COVID-19 the way it should be exercised every where they are very careful and mindful of others That's what keeps this virus from spreading the way they take precautions. Their customer service was great. Everything was explained to me in detail on how to get into my unit, what times they're open, payments, and even the insurance.

It was easy to make a reservation online, and getting access to the unit was quick.

Fantastic staff, clean facility, fantastic elevators. What more do you need?

Convenient location, secure, covered parking is nice, decent priced, and Jaymes is great. Easy process.

Shanice in the front office was a total sweetheart! She made sure I looked at the unit, was kind and helpful each time I have been there. If I could change anything I would extend the hours of entry but that will probably be a non-issue now that I've moved my things in. I recommend this company and location!

The units were spacious and very it wa a surprisingly clean facility. Laticia at the front office gave us optimal customer service and I was extreemly please with the overall service.

After a morning driving around town to checkout several storage facilities, we chose this Public Storage for price and size, secure gated-access, and Tamika--who did such an amazing job setting us up with the best available unit at the best price. 5- Star for Luciana property manager who was very helpful and demonstrated excellent customer service in resolving a mix up in the paperwork we encountered . Moving is stressful and emotional enough especially with our 80 year old mother involved. But Luciana was understanding and resolved the situation through the clients eyes! Thank You Luciana!!

Kevin was really helpful today. I found the right size unit after he was kind enough to show me 4 different sizes. He was thorough, friendly and ultimately helpful in getting me everything necessary to start renting a unit. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had the deal as advertised online. His Manager Luciana was right in having Kevin here - Ive been to a few different storage places and people are not usually this helpful.

I truly despise having to pay to store my belongings for any amount of time because I have trust issues with where it is being stored. From the time i checked in, the staff was very welcoming and assured that my belongings would be safe. The more experienced staff members here (especially the gal that lived in Arizona, I forget her name) really exercise customer service excellence. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you for operating a safe space for my belongings.

I had a housemate go crazy I literally had to move in 1 hour Nicholas at the call center found my a facility close by and affordable. Megan the property manager was so KIND and helpful. that I was able to calm down, breathe and no my things were going to be safe. She never treated me like because my stay was going to be for a short time that I was not important but rather made me feel valued as a customer. I really appreciate all Nicholas at the call center and Megan at the facility did for me and can honestly say should I need storage again I will use Public Storage and specifically property 23086 in Berkeley CA because of them.

I needed to store my belongings and furniture for the summer because I was spending my summer out of town, and my apartment leases didn't overlap in time. Most storage spaces in Berkeley have mixed reviews that are pretty hit or miss, but I decided to gamble with the Public Storage on Harrison Street. I don't know why they received bad reviews because Public Storage had everything I needed without any fuss. All my belongings were safe and secure, the storage space was clean, and everything was in its place when I returned 3 months later to pick it up. Would definitely recommend!

I feel like I can trust my stuff to be safely kept here. It's not cheap but none of these companies are and you get what you pay for with storage facilities. The staff are friendly enough. Don't have a lot of contact with them because I often need to go in after office hours.
