This is a great facility, and the customer service is outstanding. VERY secure, and quite accessible. DO NOTE that the access hours are more restrictive than some other facilities, but we can easily adjust our timing so that it's not, at all, a problem for our use. This also provides additional security! We are very pleased.

I've never rented a storage space before, so I didn't know what to expect. What I got was great service - friendly and helpful. I need a climate controlled space, and I compared prices all over Palm Springs and Cathedral City. This was a very competitive value - and a great location for me. I live off of Indian Canyon @ San Rafael, so it's basically a straight drive up Indian Canyon. There is a storage place just a few blocks from me - closer - but also much more expensive. This is definitely worth going a little bit father. I couldn't have asked for an easier check-in and friendly service.

Kevin was fantastic, stayed late until the movers finished unloading the truck. Please be more clear when reserving a unit, the availability and size. I had originally reserved one unit 10x35, and I was told at the day of move that they don't have these kind of units. So I had to use smaller multiple units which made it difficult to arrange the boxes. Again Kevin went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly, very courteous, friendly and professional.

The man who gave us a tour was polite and happy to show us the storage that he had open. Storage building is like a Fort Knox, (massive, clean and seemingly impenetrable). The condo contract fell through, so I didn't need the storage for now, but I'll be back.

Pros: Storage area is on steroids, this is one big place. Cons: Not the cheapest. In this day and age I guess you get what you pay for. Conclusion: If you can afford it, unquestionably worth it, with all the perks included.

We have been in and out of storage with family members moves and cahnges, and this is the first and only Storage company I would ever recommend . The owner Michael and his manager Eric personnaly assisted our family and our movers in determining the right size unit which was smaller than we expected, saving us money...and then they stayed in telephone communication with us during three move in and move out experiences over three years... Finally...on a closed day and on his day off, Eric went in and opened up the facility for us to move more furniture back into storage when we were caught in a jam...Who does this>>>Selfless and Caring People...Look no Further as they were the lowest priced , and had AC cooled buildings which is mandatory for our belongings and were the cleanest and most secure storage facility of the five in Palm Springs area that I examined and inspected .

From Day 1 to the very last day, Sun Valley Storage has been nothing but amazing!! Over the phone, in person, or by email, they answered every question asked with grace and professionalism. From move in to move out they did what ever they could do to assist me, lending a helping hand, made sure I had all my arrangements made, and they even have their own moving truck they rent out to customers at a very generous rate!! And to top it off the facility was spotless. Not once did I see trash laying around, dirt on the floor, or even a bug. My experience with Sun Valley and Staff was wonderful!! And if you don't believe me, check it out for yourself :)

They advertized '24 hour access' that's what brought me there, & their ad said "1 month free with 3 month prepay" and their office hours were from 7am to 7pm,,I thought GREAT I can get there before they close, and then I'll have all weekend 24/7 to move my stuff there, so I drove the 90 miles to get there,but they were closed, it was only 5:30,so I get someone on the phone & they were real nice and said if I come back tomorrow they'll give me a great deal,so I come back,but some other guy is there,but he said the other guy told him to give me a good deal, well, after the paperwork it's 4:30pm and he's like well if you need to unload you better hurry cuz we're closing at 5:00pm, yeah,they dont stay open till 7:00pm. oh,and they are closed on the weekends,and NO they dont have 24 hour access and he said,to get the 1st month free,you have to PRE-PAY for a YEAR! who rents storage for a year ON PURPOSE??!! oh, and he charged me $139.00 a month, but there was only 2 wks left of the month but they dont prorate, so there you have it,my great deal, I can never make it there before they close it seems, its a total rip-off!!

Nice place / high quality security, etc... and easy to get in and out of the place. We were there storing stereo equipment about two years ago and went back again this past Easter to put my library in storage.

This place is near the freeway, so it was easy for us to get to. We had a Uhaul truck and it was great cuz we drove directly inside the big warehouse right up to the unit and they also had a cart for us to use. We need a place to store stuff every summer and we now found a great place and they offered us a discount too.
