Placerville Self Storage

Found this unit quite easily online and fell for the get first 2 months at half price deal! Reserved unit and went to office to do paperwork and pay. The office manager was very friendly and helpful showing me the unit and explaining the process. When it came down to finalizing and paying the half price deal had almost completely disappeared! First they put the half off amount, then add the administration fees, then add the monthly storage mandatory insurance fees and taxes well now your actually only saving around 10 dollars! Not what I expected! Just as I said too good to be true!

Found unit online while looking for cheap storage to place garage boxes and bags to be sorted out for donation or disposal! This facility had 2 months for half price! Reality is after charging a monthly insurance fee plus admin. fee and monthly rate it was almost Full price which is not cheap! So don't get fooled by half price offers as they are just a ploy to get you to rent from them! When something seems too good to be true it always turns out to be just that!!!

Great experience. But didn’t realize I went through a third party and was told we could go in the same day. At the time the office was closed it was a Sunday. Whelp we couldn’t go in till the following day. It ended working out but just a bit disappointed. It was a miscommunication. People at the unit the next day were wonderful.

Ordering my unit online was easy. Everything was clearly spelled out. Jennifer clearly explained the procedure when I checked in. Unit was easily accessible, drove up to it, backed up my truck, and unloaded my items. This is going to work out perfectly for me. Also nice to know if I need a larger unit, no problem.

We were greeted nicely despite the fact that there was an unpleasant incident just before we arrived. She apologized for the inconvenience and was obviously affected by the encounter but she made sure we were taken care of and dealt with as promptly as she could. I feel for her having to deal with unpleasant people by herself. She was professional and a definite asset to your company.

These people are just out to make money. They insist on using their locks even though I had the exact same lock and showed it to them I had to buy a new one from them. You have to buy their insurance when I have the exact insurance that I paid $30 a month for now I have to pay another $40 a month for their insurance Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m out of there as soon as I can get out. Cost way too high. You must give them 20 days notice before you leave or they will charge you another complete month!!! RUDE behavior!!!!

They treated me very nice.......the two young men that helped me were both so professional....and kind....they worked with me on which size I would need.....you made a good chose hiring them....

Going online to squarefoot.com to find a storage unit was the best thing I could have done. A very friendly, real person answered my phone call and asked what kind of storage I was needing. Within a minute or so she had a storage facility to suggest. It was within our zip code and actually very close to where we live. It was PRICED UNDER our expectations and larger than I had hoped for. Renting the unit from Placerville Storage was also a very positive experience. Friendly and helpful people. The facility is very easy to get to and easy to get into with our personal gate code. The unit is easily accessible and very clean. I'm highly recommending sparefoot.com!!

The entire move in process was super easy. I was coming from out of town so booked online and they followed up with an informational call and we were able to do the paperwork via email. Only took about 10 min. Haven't interacted with any staff (my preference because covid), and the facility has been incredibly easy to access without issues. Only note: would have been nice if the unit had been swept out prior to move-in, but it was minimal and easy to do myself.

I had several totes needed a storage unit because I had a reservation somewhere else and was on my way there Was at door and she wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t there said gone for the day well the day just started So I went to this place the girl drove me around the property until we found one that would do and I asked her if anything comes available for a drive up she would let me know she didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t stop until I was happy so did great in my eyes and even gave me a cart but the area I i itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s to hard to use it need to fix that area by front door Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m 56 so my lower back is hurt so was hard that I couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t use the item but happy it was there for me thank you so much

This storage place is really well-kept. Somebody lives on the property and the gate code system keeps track of who goes in and out. We are happy we snagged a spot here.
