Public Storage - San Jose - 5679 Santa Teresa Blvd

I signed up for my unit on Tuesday afternoon but still needed to complete the final steps. I asked if he would be there the next mirning he said Yes. The following morning I showed up. The office was locked, there was no answer on the phone. I left 4 messages during the following hour. I went to my unit. It was sealed and there was no access and no lock and key. Finally I get a call from a neighboring facility saying the manager had called in and she would be there to help in the afternoon. She then told me how to break the seal and gain access to the lock and key on the floor of the unit. It would have been helpful if facility manager would had told me that the day before, but he said he would be there in the morning. I understand why he didn’t take me to the unit and show me this because I needed to be somewhere and was in a rush. But he could have told me the process. Very frustrating move in day

Easy excess to get to my unit. Elevator is big and works good,good hours to get in. Courteous management.

Showed photos of what I wanted to put in storage and the very helpful person, recommended I get a bigger unit... Glad I did the unit I would have rented would have been too small.

The initial sign up was done very smoothly. We reserved a space on line, showed up at our apt., we're shown our space, signed papers and were done. However, today we went to put items in our space for the first time. We were told there were no carts because they were stolen. Apparently an associate left the doors open. (?) The manager then said. We need to call Corp. about that. What??? It hasn't already been done? Don't like that doors to building don't stay open, makes it hard to get things inside. We borrowed a cart from another renter, loses our things into the unit but when we went to drive out, there was a more attached to the key pad sting it was broken, go around and use the entry keypad. Then you're supposed to Run back to your car and try to make it thru before the gate closes on your car! NOT a good forst impression. When we took our second load, the manager had kindly secured and saved a cart for us. Sure makes this a lot easier! And she was cleaning cobwebs, dust etc. older building but kept but kept very clean

From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcome. Stephanie was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The unit was ready and very clean even though I made the reservation a few hours earlier. The check-in process was very user friendly and took less than 2 minutes since I had completed the express check-in online which was another excellent point. Thank you.

Great experience so far. Would like to have more carts available for use during visits.

They are the BEST! And they have wonderful costumers service. This storage has good prices and good sizes too. The manager SAMANTHA is very sweet and very nice! I recommend , if your looking for a storage .

I went and and rented out storage space for my furniture and the customer service there was excellent and so helpful for I was very stressed out for not sure which storage place I wanted to store my furniture at and the people there made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Will recommend to any and everyone :)

Reasonable, competitive rates for standard storage rooms sizes. Great access hours. Pretty much what you expect to receive in services for what you pay. Simple start up (admin fee and insurance coverage required), some specials available, 10-day grace period for payment. Micheal at the front desk was very helpful.

This is the second time renting from them. Always a pleasure and Cassandra was wonderfully pleasant and knowledgeable about the type of items we were storing and the best location to store them in in the facility!!

The only thing I have a really hard time with is the lack of carts. One cart for over 300 units is not very good and makes it very difficult to take things to unit. I hope you can remedy this problem. Thank you. Shari

They held the unit for me. I reserved online. They showed me the unit before I signed any paperwork. Explained at rental terms to me and answered sll my questions. I would recommend this place. This is my third time using them.

This place is local, the price is right, it's clean, easily accessible, and perfect for storing.
