Service was good and professional. Halls were very narrow and hard to navigate with large loads. Some hidden prices and generally kind of expensive, but good customer service.

I would advise those with large items to take a tape measure to assure the size of the storage unit, including the height of the doors, elevator, and hallways for moving items on wheeled carts. I would also advise to load all materials onto carts, prior to opening the doors, to prevent others from "just slipping in since you already had the door propped open." Too bad I could not use my existing padlock and had to purchase a cylinder lock, that I may only need for a few months.

It was fast and easy

The storage rates are good but the place is not very clean. There are lots of people wandering around the parking lot so make sure everything is locked in your car before you go up to your storage locker.

I have been a customer of Public Storage for the last 2 1/2 years. I've gotten to work with many of the employees through the years. Chris is a passionate manager who truly cares for the well being of his customers. He has given much of his time to just checking in on people and making sure they are set. On my last 2 overwhelming and hectic days at Public Storage, I got the pleasure to work with Tracy for the first time. she's actually very helpful and available with providing dollies and carts. when I was freaking out about closing my account & sweeping my unit after, she quickly finished my paperwork & thanked me for wanting to sweep my unit. She was super nice and forgiving of my state, which was all over the place & probably borderline crazy person!! Haha!! If there was anything I could change or request it would be this. When I first opened my storage the business stayed open until 9 PM and that was one of the selling points for me. Because of the location and clientele, they now close 3 hours earlier which has always caused me issues around closing time.

Laura gave me excellent customer service. There was good communication. I recommend this place!

Took seconds to compare prices and sizes. I was looking after office hours online and they called me less than 15 minutes after they opened the next day. Would recommend to anyone.

Surprisingly, with the location being in a challenging part of town, the service is good and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is when they are shorthanded and that the hours are limited to 6pm, yet for safety reasons, which I'm ok with.

Manager was great. She set up the account, processed the documents, showed us the unit, gave us the online/internet access, and helped us get the best possible price - without any problems or delay. She was also very pleasant. Don't see this kind of competency often .....

Upon arriving at public storage, I found my online reservation with a lower costing online special gets a much harder to reach storage space so I opted to pay more and get an easier to access storage space. I wish I would receive the lower cost for my space. Then there's also the * attached to the $1 first month. BS, I should be paying that $1* cost for 3 months.

The current manager, September, was friendly and efficient, making my sigh-up experience fast and stress free. In fact, the whole staff at River Street Public Storage in Santa Cruz have eceptional customer service skills. Very much recommended.

Everyone was very nice and made sure everything from the price, size of the space to the time of charge was very clear to me before I signed the papers. There was no hidden fees which is very important to me!
