Nice place and quite. The only thing i dont like is no camera inside the building.but the pricing is nice and its fit with the budget. I recommend this public storage

I like this. And I also like the fact that they have inner storage excess and not just out side storage. I feel more comfortable and I feel my items are more secure. Ty for the lady in the front office she was very helpful and courtesy was very professional. Onec again thank you so much.,

Outside of not receiving the move-in special, every thing is what you would expect, the staff on sight was friendly, for the most part the site was clean.

Unexpectedly nice location and Julia, at the front desk was awesome.

The reservation process and notifications prior to move-in all went well. However, when filling out the paperwork he insisted that we had to carry the insurance even though we confirmed that our homeowners insurance covers it and I had the declaration page. He said that we had to pay for insurance on the unit or couldn't rent. So, we agreed since we had to move in that day. Then that night I read the fine print in the contract and you absolutely do NOT have to buy their insurance or any other. I called to get the insurance removed and the first month insurance charge credited back to my account and was told that they wouldn't be able to credit me and can only change the account in person. I live in another state and was only in town to move into storage for one day. Also, when we saw the 5x10 unit we knew we didn't need that much space so requested a 5x5 unit instead which were available. However, the same guy said that it wouldn't make sense because the rate we got on the 5x10 unit was less than the 5x5 rate so we stayed with that unit and moved in. Then I go home that night and search online and find that this was also not true. There were 5x5 units available to rent at that facility for $18 less per month. Finally, they really push buying moving supplies in the store. He really pushed buying more than 10 boxes to get the quantity discount with the assurance that you could return them for a full refund on anything we didn't end up using. So we did, but guess what? We didn't need half of the boxes and went in to return them and get a refund and got attitude and the total hassle. I had to be very insistant just to get my refund on unused boxes. All around bad taste in my mouth and now I am having to spend endless hours calling the local storage facility, Public Storage central customer service, etc. just to get their employee errors corrected and set my account straight.

Some of the storage facilities near my house are expensive. This was very reasonable for a large size unit (10x15). I was hoping for an exterior rollup door but they don't have that. The staff was able to find a unit a short walk inside the facility which I was happy to get. I like using my own lock but they need customers to use the new round, almost bullet-proof locks instead. It's safe, I just hope I don't forget to bring the key. It's right off the freeway which is very convenient for me. The staff was friendly and did their best to respond to my needs.

I would recommend public storage to anyone.

Went in to look for prices on boxes. The employees were very friendly and made me feel welcome. They answered all the questions I had and over all I had an excellent experience. Big thanks Kolbie (one of the associates) she made sure I left with everything I needed. I'll definitely return.

Rented a room here to put my things away for the summer. The whole process was pain free. I'll be back in the future.

Steve was a pleasure to speak with to be introduced to the property. I have had rentals at other public storage facilities and I must say that this is certainly the best. It's very clean, the employees are warm and helpful. After I use this facility I will definitely be coming back here if I need another storage unit.

There are different areas for storage unit buildings and the one I was put in, I felt everyone else was in as well. We had to keep stopping with the moving process because all the other customers kept coming to use the elevator. We almost did not make the 9pm time because of all the interruptions.

It feels as if Ive known them for years. They care about your security and how important it is that your items are safe. Security is number one for me since I had a break in at Public storage in Santa clara on lafayette. Even calls are answered immediately. Knowledge of space is crucial since it is the determining factor for monthly rent and Ed is pretty right on. Friendly courteous and knowledgeable is the management staff at Mtn View PS.!

Access to carts / hand trucks too limited by hours. Need access to carts after 6pm. I know I can call in advance, but I dont always know what my schedule is, so hard to do that.

As far as room is OK if that is what you need but it'll be better to have restrooms and more dollies to get stuff in and out without having to wait for one. Hours should be extended at list up until 10PM because people is working and by the time you get to the storage you have little time, also during weekends. A water fountain (tap water) would be nice. Better illumination in the rooms also would be nice.
