Public Storage - Aurora - 15600 E Mississippi Ave

As a first time storage customer, the process from booking online to checking-in to my rental was so easy and smooth! Icing on the cake, I forgot to put my lock pad on the unit, Paul (Staff) called me right away to make me aware, locked it up for me until I got there to lock it up!! The property is clean and secure! Definitely going to be my go-to when I need storage in the future!!

Some one had messed up my reservation. But Ms.Shamile took her time out to help me even after she was already close and she stayed and made sure I was in my unit.Great job

Storage units are clean. Unit was ready and waiting for me with a lock and insurance papers inside when I got there.

No frills, but I got what I was promised and renting was very easy

Storage was hard to get into my access code didn't work but eventually management fixed it. There was only one cart for entire facility which makes it harder on us customers. Jennifer was pleasent

Nice enough gentlemen running the place - when he was not dealing with IT issues or out of the office on other matters. Not having a second person on hand to assist was showing to be a point of frustration for both customers and the "manager" as well. Computer system was down when I arrived, and I was sent to another location to "check in" to my unit. When I returned the system was back up apparently, and a line of customers were awaiting their turn. One actually got tired of waiting and put her retail items back on the shelf and left. I had "signed out" a moving cart (leaving my I.D. in the office), and became concerned I might be stuck at the storage location because the manager had left the site (lunch?) and of course locked the office. Another gentleman came to pick up/drop off items at his unit and asked to use my cart, since he couldn't get one from the office. I was done with it, so I let him use it. Thankfully, just as I finished off unloading all my items the "manager" returned and I retrieved my I.D. and left. The overall experience was mediocre at best - too many "lows" dragging down the highs. Also, an unfortunate effect of the delays was the extra charges I got hit with on the moving truck because I ran over my intended return time. Thankfully, I was able to have those refunded / negated by the truck rental company once they were told my story.

Building is clean, well-lit, and easily accessible. Manager on-site was very helpful and kind to interact with.

From the contact center, the meeting the employee at the facility, GREAT customer service. It met my needs, my timeline. Everything was clean and the staff was so friendly.

Heather was absolutely amazing. From the customer service line rep, Vivian booking our reservation and answering all my questions, to Heather immediately following up and getting us squared away, every step was not only easy and quick, but so pleasant. This entire situation was extremely stressful, and the ease of securing a unit coupled with such an extremely helpful staff made this transition as seamless as possible. I would def recommend this company to ANYONE looking for affordable, secure, and easy storage!

Heather was absolutely amazing in meeting our needs. She was extremely quick to call us back after reserving our unit, gave us a full walkthrough upon our arrival and explained everything very well. I had a very pleasant experience from the phone call with Vivian to reserve, all the way up to locking my unit after I unloaded. Its a very clean and well maintained area, secure gate, individual entry codes, and they're only closed 9 hrs from 9 pm to 6 am. I would def recommend this company to anyone looking for exceptional and affordable storage!

Great storage facility, clean, secure, we are very impressed.

If you live in Aurora and need storage, make sure to reserve a unit at 1150 S Idalia St and avoid 1710 S Abilene St at all costs. I had originally set up a reservation at the latter, and one of their staff members cancelled it without my authorization. When I spoke with the manager the next day, he literally said, "Man that screws you huh?" and made no attempt to right the situation. After he gave me a customer service line that didn't work, I Googled the district manager's number and spoke with her. She came through, and helped me make a new reservation at the 1150 S Idalia St location. The manager at this location was very helpful, and between her and the DM, everything was taken care of. 5 Stars to the DM and the manager of Idalia.

In the past few days I noticed there were mice dropping in my unit......I have ALL my belongings from my previous residence in the unit. M last storage was thru Cubesmart and compared to Public Storage the units structure, cleanliness, and safety are way different. My unit had huge oil/liquid spills on the floor (not cleaned at all bnefore my move in), the gaps between the cement and plywood are enormous, in fact there was already rat poison/bait in all corners of unit. Also the wall on back of unit doesn't sound like it would take very much to break thru/ enter as a mouse. I believe I'm over paying for this unit that is not up to my standards based on previous storage facilities.
