i spoke to customer service over the phone. They reserved a unit for me at a great price. When I got to the storage unit they told me I wouldn't be able to fit all of the stuff in that one, it was too small. We upgraded to a bigger one. That now costs more. We got a good deal, the manager told us a a price. We agreed to it. But we weren't told all of the extra add ons that we needed until we ended up needing to checkout and pay. So we needed up spending $200 more than what we were originally quoted for. Just a bad experience.

The general appearance of the facility office was run down. It appeared to be an unused building from the exterior. Inside the merchandise and office was tidy, but bugs filled the windows and the bathroom lacked supplies. The staff, Angie, was efficient and informative. She made sure to inform me of the additional cost of their cylinder lock system ahead of my scheduled appointment. The storage unit I rented was not swept and I as charged $10 for a mattress cover to "create a seal on the bottom of the door". I was not asked if like to buy the cover, it was assumed. I think if it's necessary to use these extra measures the facility needs to be repaired or the mattress cover should be complimentary. Also there was lighting to my unit but is not functional, with apparently no intention to repair it. However the newer doors on the unit glided easily, were simple to use and were in my opinion superior to standard storage doors even though they require a cylinder lock to function. The security of the facility is predicated on their gate system. However, even with the key pad gate, cylinder locks, security cameras and on-site management you are not allowed access to your unit 24 hours (only 6am-9pm). Additionally, you can literally get locked inside at 9:01pm and unless you block the entrance until the gate closes behind you it is extremely easy to enter without a code. Overall I'm satisfied with my rented unit.
