Close to our new home. Had some wrappers in our unit but not a big deal. Lock was in there as expected. Reserved online and was able to gain access through my phone as there was no one in the office.

I have rented before from Public Storage and am fine with the services provided. I would like to see the full cost on the reservation email ($20 for a lock and cost of insurance was not included on the amount labeled 'Total Move In Cost'). Also, the facility I am renting at has a ton of ice between the buildings (where my unit is located) which s very dangerous and probably a huge liability for Public Storage - they should be putting down icemelt or something similar.

Scharneyse called me immediately after I completed my online application and walked me through a few more options. She then set up my appointment for later that afternoon. Once I arrived, she gave me a tour of my storage unit, which was spotless, and then walked me through the paperwork. While we were signing the paperwork, she and I started talking about the community and I found her to be extremely insightful and engaging. She's a native of Oakland and cares about our community as a whole and the neighborhood where I will be storing belongings - this is very important to me because it gave me a sense that this Public Storage was a safe and secure location. I would recommend this PS location to anyone.

I have had a great experience with the local Public Storage locations I use. My trailer is located at one, and my home furnishings at the the other. Their prices are very competetive, and they have great locations throughout the metro market. In additiona I love the ease of paying rent. They have every option you could imagine!
