About A Better Self Storage Fountain

At ABSS Fountain we offer both drive up and interior access units as well as parking. Just up the road from the gates of Fort Carson we are honored to offer active military discounts to our service men and women. We are a locally owned and operated company with the needs of our customers in mind. For your convenience we have an after hours call center for payments, rentals and inquiries. For your convenience truck rental through Uhaul is available at this site with its own set of promotions when you also rent a unit.

I went to get my stuff and I was locked out. It was supposed to be staffed on Sunday from 9-4 and there was nobody there to help with my problem. Horrible

Had a promo for first month free, but they do not mention how you must still pay for any days after the first. If you have the promo, best to use it exactly the beginning of the month or youテ「竄ャ邃「ll still end up paying a pro rated fee. The customer service was friendly and fast, and it was only just her there. Overall experience was good. Thanks!

I regret that after 8 years of renting here, I will be canceling the two units I have with them. After waiting a few minutes for (I believe it was Josh, the manager because of an email I received from him), to return from lunch to cut a lock off, he arrived. It was 12:42 when he returned. The clock on the door said will be back from lunch at 12:45. My sister got out of the car to follow him into the building after he returned. He spun around and said, "I'm on lunch". She said, "your sign says 12:45". He raised his voice and leaned towards her and said, "can't you read, it says 1:45." He unlocked the door, stepped in, and slammed it in her face. She started to walk away and turned and lightly knocked on the door. He opened the door and she said, "you may want to take it down so others don't wait." He grabbed the plastic clock off the door and stepped outside. He leaned towards her (approx. 2 feet from her face) and yelled, "can you not read"! At that point I got out of the car and said, "listen, we have had units her for over 8 years and the customer service has become horrible over the last year." You have no reason to yell at her. He turned towards me, stepped into the door with his voice raised and said, "I said I was on lunch!" and I told him I wanted his supervisor's name or the owners name. He slammed the door in my face. I had to return later that day with my son to even feel safe. I later received an email from him stating that we had yelled at him and gotten in his face and he apologized for us "misinterpreting the sign". I have owned a business in Fountain for over 26 years with over 18,000 clients. I would not tolerate the way he treats customers for one day. We will be moving all units to another one that knows how to talk to clients in an appropriate way and work out issues without becoming threatening. I will be finding another storage facility!!!!
