Extra Space Storage - 8637 - Littleton - Southpark Way

Prices are deceiving I’ve had to every six months move storages because they up the price by $100. Stop being so selfish and greedy and taking peoples money I’m about to start being charged $200 a month for a 10x7 that’s double what I pay already and that’s stupid. Yal wanna keep customers and ones that aren’t trying to live out of your storage units then stop upping your price every 6 months and keep the people who use them for good reason. And in case you don’t already know you have at least 1 gentleman who pretty much lives on your property I see him there all the time before close. Just hanging out in his storage “apartment” he had a couch a tv and was chillin making a sandwich.

Facility is clean and staff is friendly but be prepared to have your rates increase $100 every 6 months for no reason! Very disappointed by the price gouging as I now have to move out into a different facility.

This is the second time ive rented here and probably wont be the last

I used to have a storage space at the Public Storage on Santa Fe and Belleview it was awful the price was the same for a 5 x 10 as I am paying for a 10 x 20. If you want to great place to store your stuff definitely use Self Storage off South Park way and Mineral in Littleton Colorado.

Very friendly and helpful lady at front desk. No trouble arranging storage but the bathroom was filthy and missing TP. Plus the next couple of days the single “working” gate was somewhat finicky requiring multiple re-entries of the code

We checked in at extra space Self Storage and Karina the manager was super friendly and made it to Breeze. She was knowledgeable and gave a great tour of the facility and explained everything simply. The facility in unit was extremely clean insecure and made us feel as if we can rest assured while our stuff is being stored.

I really appreciated the staff and their desire to make the transition as simple as possible for me. I think they were super supportive and willing to help because they actually care about the people they serve. It's been a true pleasure being there.

I booked online for a first month free and then $50 a month rate. When we showed up the guy gave us a list of available units and told us to choose one. When we showed up the next week to sign the lease they removed the free month and changed the rate to $77 a month because the one we chose was a "premium" unit, though the guy never said anything about that when we chose the unit. They also blindside you with their insurance requirement. Insurance is required, though they never tell you that. I could have gotten it online for $10 a month if I would have known, but now I have to pay $24 a month. I felt like they were just trying to get more money out of us.

I never thought storage could be fun. Ha! Kristine is awesome! She made me laugh the entire time I was there. She is incredibly welcoming, professional, and thorough. The space is clean, secure, and well-maintained. I have no hesitations and feel incredibly comfortable - I know what I've stored will be safe! Definitely highly recommend this place!

Online reservation was easy. Manger did very good follow up and move in day went fine. Was a little stressful to go through the sign up process while I had movers loading my space, but if I had come in before the moving day, that would have made it less stressful.

The staff is crazy slow at checking into a unit for the first time, but that is my only complaint. Insurance is a little high, but a mile better than public storage.

I had a great experience with this facility. The right cubic footage for the best monthly price anywhere near me. This new facility is really clean and has temperature control. I was able to easily reserve the unit I wanted online and move in the next day. Customer service was great except for the fact that the office was locked during business hours and a sign indicated that I would need to call a number to get the employee's attention for admittance. I didn't have my phone on me, so I had to drive around to find someone nice enough to let me use their phone. Other than some hidden charges and requirement for a monthly insurance fee the pricing was still the best around. Highly recommended.

Facilities owned by this company are relatively the same and would receive a favorable review. However management can be all the difference! On that note, take your business to other facilities rather than This one in Southpark.

My wife and I reserved a storage unit at this facility. I spoke to the manager, Dustin, on the phone thinking I could make payment and complete the lease, etc on the phone. Dustin advised that I had to come to the facility before 6:00 p.m. if we wanted to move things in after 6:00. As I was short on time, I asked my wife if she could go by and sign the lease, make the payment and get our code to get into the facility. When she arrived Dustin told her she needed to purchase insurance from him. She asked why we hadn't been informed of this at the time of our reservation or during my call with him. Dustin only responded that we needed insurance or he wouldn't rent to us. My wife called and I confirmed for her that our Homeowners policy covered personal property stored off premises. Dustin then told her that he needed to see a copy of the policy to confirm coverage. I agreed to have my agent fax him a copy of the Declaration Page but while waiting for the FAX my wife told Dustin that it seemed a poor practice to not tell renters that a copy of their policy was required to secure the rental and that his initial insistence that we had to buy insurance from him for $17 per month seemed dishonest. Dustin then told my wife that "if you play nice I might still rent to you." When she objected to his tone he said, "If you're not going to play nice you can leave." He then ordered her out of the office and locked the office door behind her. His attitude from the beginning was extremely poor, his tactic to sell insurance were unethical and his behavior toward my wife rose to the level of 'harassment'! Never have had such a negative experience at any business in Littleton! Hope the owner understands whats at stake when his staff loses business. Went a few blocks away and found a better facility, more professional staff and less money per month!

Found the unit online and reserved it, several weeks in advance. Had several calls and emails allowing me to discuss what I needed and how the units were designed and what I needed to get in order. The manager Dustin was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me through a complicated situation.

We loved the facilities. Brand new, clean, bright. Nice customer service. We just wish there was the option to sign a year lease. Maybe this is a normal thing with storage units (this is our first) but I would feel so much better knowing we had a price locked in for 12 months.

This facility is shiny-new and well kept. It is quite large, but access to units is convenient and abundant while the building remains well-secured. The staff is super friendly and seem happy to help, which is a breath of fresh air in a world where customer service seems to be on its death bed as the millennial generation overtakes the "work"force... The process was streamlined and technologically advanced, making it a quick and easy transaction. Zero complaints about the Extra Space experience from a grateful mom of 3 under 3.

This review is based solely on initial contact and sign up with Dustin as I just got the unit yesterday. I reserved my unit online and when I arrived at the office he immediately greeted me with a smile and said his goal was to make everything as easy as possible for me, which he did. The facility looks and smells very clean, has multiple loading docks, and provides moving carts.

It was clean and convenient and priced far below others and friendly and easy!! Have not had a better experience and I'll never go anywhere else.

This is a brand new, state-of-the-art, 24-hour climate-controlled storage facility. What more could anyone want? Plus the prices are unbeatable with the first month free and lower monthly rent than the nearest competitor. We are still moving our stuff into the unit but wow! We rented a 10x30 space and it is unbelievable how much stuff it will be able to hold. We are very happy with the space as well as the Customer service. They also have moving supplies plus locks and other stuff to help make your move smoother and easier.

Very nice operator, Dustin. Still waiting for my key pad to work at the loading door closest to my unit just moved in and they say they will fix it this week. Very clean but wish I could get in the North door since my unit is located near that door. But price is better at that unit location so don't mind walking.

Your manager is great. If I owned the business, he would be the man I would want working for me.
