I would have given a 5 but I did not move my things into the unit nor have I seen the property but my phone experience with the manager at the derby,CT facility was amazing. Rachel was very accommodating in helping me secure a unit as I was out of state for the summer and needed the unit the next day. The friend who moved my things in had no issues and sent me pictures of the unit. It was a very clean 5x5 space with more than enough room for my boxes. The rental prices is reasonable in comparison to all other facilities even with mandatory ins. I'd rent again if I needed to.

I've been renting at this facility for several years and the staff has always been top-notch, the facility clean and I've never encountered a problem with the gate malfunctioning. There are a couple of issues, however, that I have to note. The ownership has changed 3 times since I've been a customer, and each time there has been an increase in the rental price and/or the addition of some type of insurance cost or an increase in the insurance cost. (There was initially no insurance requirement if you could provide proof of coverage through another policy). All of this brings their rental rates into one of the highest, if not the highest in the area. The rates, coupled with the lack of 24-hour access are negatives IMHO.

Good easy access on and off the highway and easy to arrange to get a space, no hassels.
