Several points of frustration with this place, unfortunately. I called to ask why my monthly rate had risen from ~$120 to over $200 in the last couple of years while the same sized units (10x10) were currently being advertised on SpareFoot for $165, and I got the runaround—first was told that there had only been one rate bump, and then as we walked through the payment history it was confirmed that there had been at least three bumps. When I asked about adjusting to the lower advertised rate, I was told a request would be put in but then never heard anything back. Evidently, the request was wiped out of their system because I spoke to customer service the same day about a separate billing issue (I accidentally overpaid by a month while trying to switch my payment method)—so I was told I’d need to re-start the process, while the next billing cycle for our grossly inflated rent was fast approaching. Ultimately we decided to just downsize to a smaller unit (too many large items to justify switching facilities), but I was again given incorrect information about our ability to just ‘transfer’ to a smaller unit. When we arrived to make the switch, we learned that we would have to treat it like a new reservation to lock in the SpareFoot rate, which meant continuing to pay for the vacated unit for the balance of the month (less than a week, but COME ON) plus paying a $24 admin fee and—surprise—a higher rate for the mandatory insurance. Store elsewhere!

Price keeps going up. Lure customers with low initial price. Helpful Customer service. Standard Paperwork & cleanliness. Save by bringing own lock and insurance.

This was my 2nd time and it's better than the 1st. I'm on the 1st floor. I love this spot. The team was very helpful and made the process easy.

Good place to use if you live around Norwalk. Gated all around, carts to move stuff, and convenient elevator access.

The facility manager, Irene, was so helpful and friendly. She was easy to get a hold of an very accommodating to our schedule. I do wish the company sent out a checklist of items to bring - for example, if we were advised before hand to bring a lock of our own, it would have saved us almost $30 at time of signing up.

All though I did not rent because I do not need for another 2 months I definitely will be returning to this location. I also liked that is was a one stop shop locks, packing merchandise and of course storage :)

I went to Public Storage with the intention of renting some storage space. Everything was finalized within 1/2 an hour. When I went to enter the gate by foot, Reggi, who signed me up in the office, opened the gate remotely! Very nice.

I've rented from three competing storage facilities over the past fifteen years. One was immaculately offering both cleanliness and climate control. Another offered a covered loading area to protect from the weather. Each had one particularly notable offering. You offer the one most important feature of any of these rental storage facilities - quality at an affordable price. Neat, clean and convenient - and your price is the best!
