Friendly and helpful in-office manager! No auto-pay required, only optional, unlike Atrium where autopay is required and facilities are completely unmanned. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s great to see someone on-site. [ I also considered Life Storage in Old Saybrook (except for distance) as they are excellent as well. ]

This is an excellent storage facility, simple and inexpensive. Great customer service combined with affordability. What's not to love?

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ll start by saying this is my first time using a storage unit so I have no other companies or units to compare to. With that said I chose this unit and location for the price. A quick internet search showed cube smart as having the best price available for what I was looking for. A no thrills unit with enough space for what I have. My first step was a phone call to the 800 number. The person who picked up was friendly and helpful. He quoted me the same low prices I saw online, took my contact information and signed me up. I then got an email, went through a short application, made the payment online for the room and it was easy as that. I was emailed my account information and a pin to enter the facility gates, and a lock for the unit. I was caught off guard by an additional one time administration and lock fee which wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t mentioned by the agent on the phone but it wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t enough (about $30 in total) to deter me from accepting the unit. The unit itself is larger then I expected. It is a 5x5 so I was expecting 5 feet in Length, Width and Height but there was about 10-12 feet of height which gives a lot more space to the unit. With a few home-made shelves you could fit many things. Overall the experience slightly exceeded my expeditions. I initially expected it would be more expensive and a bit more time consuming of a sign up process. So with having no comparable experience, I would still recommend this company and location as a place of additional storage.
