Public Storage - Washington - 1618 Bladensburg Road NE

The place is a great location. It’s very clean. It would’ve been nice to have lights in the unit so that is a drawback and I certainly did not like the fact that I had to pay for a lock when I have a box full of them and I was forced to take the insurance which forced me to set a reminder to cancel it.

I was looking for a storage unit in the city that is clean and easy to access. Although the location is on the outskirts of the city, it's still close to the Hill and easy to access. The location is clean and safe.

Only issue I noticed is that someone had dumped quite a bit of furniture and construction debris outside the facility. I don't how long it had been there and I know it is not the fault of the facility, but I hope it is cleaned up soon.

Very nice, clean, safe, great customer service. I forget to mention the customer service was awesome. They definitely adhered to the Covid -19 guidelines. The person that checked me in (Ashley) was super awesome.

We made the reservation online and set up for auto pay. When we arrived at the location - the first floor unit was not available. Now, after one month rental the rental fees are going up:-(

Over the years, Public Storage consistently provides excellent, professional and courteous customer service as I've used their Takoma Park, MD location in the past and now the Bladensburg Road NE in D.C. location. Outstanding service. They're always working to provide the best security features and very clean. I greatly appreciated the recent help received through Victoria, property manager and Taquetta is the best!

Everything overall was awesome, but I really would like more to see more cameras in this security.

I used this storage unit for two plus years to store some furniture and other goods, including an upright piano. Piano storage must be climate controlled to protect the instrument. Every time I visited the unit the temperature was consistent, the building was clean, and the managers were pleasant and helpful. I just vacated my unit and the piano was in good shape. The building managers checked me out very quickly and, as always, were pleasant. I recommend this site to anyone who needs to store items for a short while or for a longer period.

Meena has been very helpful. Customer service is outstanding!! Highly recommend this property!! Helped keep my mind at ease.

The service was very exemplary. Me and my brother were under very stressful circumstances that Meena and Myana were very successful in helping us circumvent. They were as welcoming and understanding as either of us could've wished for them to be. I've never felt more valuable as a customer in my life.

Clean and hospitable facility. Manager Myana/Meena is accommodating, knowledgeable, fast and friendly. She helps customers find the best rental bargain to accommodate their needs. The only reason the site doesn't receive 5-stars is in light of limited access hours (Not 24-hours), and location -- if you aren't moving to or from NE DC -- traffic can be a beast.

Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond helping me find the best unit at the right price. I highly recommend them when you need to store your things. Also, the facility was always clean and safe.

Mayana has great customer services and a beautiful personality. She gave very good direction and broke everything down step by step and, she even allowed me to be hands-on as far as demonstrating with my lock.

The lady at the front desk was so helpful, I was amazed. I was having such a difficult day and moving and running late, but she took time with me even though they were about to closed. I was so impressed.

This was my first time renting a storage space. The representative was so professional and helpful and informative....she made it really easy to pick the right one and complete the paperwork. I've had it for a week now and have been there several times. Very easy and accessible.

I needed a storage unit and on a Sunday (Easter weekend at that) Public Storage came through.

My experience at Public Storage were amazing largely due in part to the friendly, helpful, and knowledgable staff. Ms. Monica who oversees the DC store was so polite and did everything possible to make sure the transaction was smooth and simple.

The customer service is great at the facility is clean. The parking lot is really small and off of a main street (Bladensburg Road) with makes accessibility an issue.

Last night I arrived to unload some of my household belongings at the Public Storage on Bladensburg Rd. NE. I did not realize we arrive that the Storage Facilty closed at 7pm. The manager patiently waited to make sure we could use the elevator and until we unloaded ALL my household items. I was so impressed by her professionalism and laid back affect. I highly recommend this Storage Facilty all of the contact I have had with the staff has been exceptional!
