I would avoid this Extra Space Storage location in Apopka. The advertised promotional rate was misleading because my rent increased from about $20 to over $150 with little transparency about how drastic the increases could be. They also charged me for insurance that I had specifically declined, and it took multiple visits and additional paperwork to get it removed. I had billing and credit card issues, and communication was consistently poor. When I needed help accessing my unit, no one was available on Sunday, and when I returned during normal weekday business hours, I was told the employees were working remotely instead of being on site. For a storage facility, that’s unacceptable. Between the misleading pricing, billing mistakes, lack of transparency, and poor customer service, I would not recommend this location.
