Public Storage - Oakland Park - 1650 W Oakland Park Blvd

Kayla and Kendra helped me on 2 different days while I searched for the right storage unit. They were patient and helpful in showing me the different options, and quick with the paperwork when I decided to use this facility.

There are 2 huge pot holes at gate opening. These need to be fixed. We are driving in a trailer with 2 jet skis. There is no reason this hasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t been fixed. Disappointing

Unit was ready upon arrival and I was able to do everything online and via Bluetooth upon arrival! Excellently thought out for customer satisfaction!

I was very impressed with the young lady who helped me out getting my storage unit. Her name is Sierra, now this is a very knowledgeable person who gave me the utmost respect. I really hope that your company let her know that she is doing an outstanding job!

I had difficulty finding the location at first because of the sml sign on the highway. I understand why customers had to wait outside before completing the rental inside but perhaps an additional sales person would have been helpful. Lots of screens to complete w/signatures, etc. The desk clerk was helpful. The storage unit was very clean and cool. I appreciated the cheap 1st month rental fee.

I had a great experience renting a storage unit at the Public Storage at Oakland Park. I was rushing to get there by 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. My sister and I drove from California to Florida and ran into a terrible storm just miles from ft lauderdale. I kept calling to make sure they were still open and Latasha was so patient with me. She assured me they would wait for us and they did. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they were all wearing masks which made us more comfortable. I have been back to my storage unit a few more times and the grounds are very well kept. I am totally pleased with this facility! Thanks... Latasha especially :)

Natasha was excellent, i went in with a unit picked out and when i saw it i asked a few questions and found out that was not the best unit for me. In a few minutes Natasha had a new unit for me that was what i was looking for and the rate was excellent.

I had pre-registered online and that saved a lot of time when I arrived. It was raining and that was the worst of it. Friendly staff, good facility. They let me borrow a cart to unload, that was great service. Gate code is cumbersome but good security sometimes is. Once I commit my individual code to memory it will be much easier to manage. Very reasonable rate for the size storage unit I booked, I'm very pleased.

Had a great experience Pearl was very attentive to my needs. She made sure that I was happy with what I was spending my money on. It was very reassuring since I was dealing with a very emotional move. We even got stuck in the rain and boy was it raining but Pearl stayed with me until I got every box in my car.... NOW that is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Rita got me in and out of there quickly. Rain was on the way, and she wasted no time giving me the information I needed about the property and the unit. I got into the unit and was able to unload everything before the rain came. So far so good!

Great service but the buildings all look alike an need numbers identifying them

I was in a bind, and needed a storage room, immediately. The only garage available, was in the heat of the sun, all day, it was a bad choice. Mark, the attendant at this location asked me if I would consider a unit they had trouble renting, because it was built out with shelves, so I agreed to take a look. This turned out to be the best suggestion anyone could have made, and I love the unit, it is 100% perfect for what I needed. If anyone needed to meet a person who is there to help the customer, Mark went above and beyond for this client, and I intend to keep the unit for as long as I am the owner of the Godswill Donations and Thrift Store, at 4231 N Dixie Highway, in Oakland Park. However, the parking lot needs to be vacuumed not blown. All that does is blow dirt and dust into the storage units. You need to have a vacuum truck come 2X week. Also, the entire property needs to be locked, so that homeless on bikes cannot ride into the facility. Why not raise everyone's rent by $10.00 a month, and hire a security firm to patrol the property and stay open until 10:00 PM. Security could work from 10PM to 6AM with two security guards.

The representative Wendy that helped us, gave us a warm helping welcome that made the experience less stressful in what we were looking for. Her prompt help and knowledge of the units and what I described was needed was absolutely wonderful. Five stars for N. Oakland Park location and more so for Wendy Ross.

Garry was very friendly and helpful. He was honest and forthcoming for the most part, he made me aware of additional fees after I had already looked at the unit I was to rent (required $20 for lock/keys) and after I started the paperwork (required insurance). He did suggest a mattress cover which was on sale for $10, which I found useful. The only reason I rated the experience average is because what I had thought would be round a $70 rental with the half off promo and the admin fee, ended up being $115 after all the added charges. I feel that this price is exuberant considering that I'm only planning on storing my items for less than a month.

Professional staff, knowledgeable, polite, answered all my questions, provided options and ultimately got me what I needed.

Things were very smooth until one member of the staff decided to raise my unit's door even though it was plainly occupied (and partially open). That's just too nosy. I was very upset. She had no right to impose herself into my personal belongings.
