My overall experience for renting a storage unit at Public Storage went very well. Pretty much everything was explained to me up front but the only reason I will not give this rating 5 stars is because I was told that management reserves the right to raise the rent every 6 months! Wow! I enjoy going to the storage unit and filling it up with some of my lifetime belongings and feel very strongly that they will be stored safely at Public Storage! I chose the Simpson Road Public Storage in Kissimmee, FL because I got a great price on a 10x15 unit. It's a little farther to drive from where I live but it is worth it. I sit here and wonder if I leave my belongings here at Public Storage for several years, how much will the rent have gone up by then? Maybe $10 a month? Maybe $25 a month? The reason I am renting here is because I got a great price. I hope it stays that way for a while anyway. Thanks

ogreatly appreciated updates via phone/vcmail/text/e-mail during potential hurricane situation orecv'd multiple phone calls/vcmails/texts/e-mails/letters by mail regarding contradicting payment dates, which I clarified by phone repeatedly, but could have potentially ended service for both storage & insurance overy nice personnel in person & on phone

They should let you know on the phone that you need a special lock valued in $20.00 and that you need to paid insurance for the storage.

I had a great experience at this location. Rebekah was a great help, got everything done quickly and very friendly. Only thing I dislike which has nothing to do with the staff at this location is the insurance policy requirement. I think it's a bit ridiculous to require it and for $11 a month. If I sign a paper saying I won't hold PS liable for any damage then they are in the clear. I suggest people get TentantOne storage unit insurance. Only $5 a month. Other than that convienant location and friend staff.

Very well secured place with plenty of cameras for looters. Security on site. I feel safe leaving my personal itemsvwith them.
