Easy to reserve and rent the unit. Customer service was very informative and nice

I made a reservation online. Got a call from a wonderful employee Paul to confirm reservation and see if I had any questions. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very respectful and explained the facts of what I was actually getting. Thank you Paul. First, the spaces as noted on the website, are approximate. You don't get what's actually advertised. Rather than charging you for the actual space you are getting they round up and charge you for space you don't get. But they tell you they are doing that on the website. Second, what felt like the bate and switch. They don't tell you you won't be in the nice new building pictured on the website. Wonderful employee Paul explained what I had a reservation in a 30 yrs old building with no a/c NEXT to the nice new building that's pictured on the website. They old building is NOT pictured any where on the website that would indicate you need to ask which one you will be in. It was not mentioned in my reservation that I would NOT be in the building pictured on the website. The only thing wrong with all of this is that I felt like it was deceptive advertising. I would have liked to have seen this specific verbiage at the time of booking the reservation. NEVER trusting Self Storage. Please update your website.

I am extremely happy with my new storage facility, Life Storage in Melbourne. It has easy access, is clean & the front office staff, in particular Matt, was professional & accommodating. I know my storage unit is well protected & I will be taken care of should I need anything concerning it during my time of usage!

I had one unit rented but after seeing how much stuff I had they recommended another unit, so I had a large one & a small one. If the larger united was taller I would only had needed one unit - but my couch had to be laid flat rather then stacked - wish they had had taller ones with the climate controll. When I needed 4 more storage boxes they gave them to me at no cost - that was very nice.
