These units are old and rusty. Old isn’t a big deal at all but there’s improvements that need to be made. One that was “ready” that we looked at had the ceiling falling down. There is no one there physically- all self serve which wouldn’t be a big deal but clearly they need better maintenance. The units are swept out but not really clean with cobwebs and bugs stuck to the bottom of the doors. The doors are so loud and rusty and the latches are super rusted and barely open or close. The gate for “security” clearly doesn’t work and is always open. We will see how this goes. We went ahead and rented a unit because we needed one quickly. Customer service over the phone was excellent at least. It’ll get the job done but it’s nothing nice nor well-maintained for sure. They don’t even mow the grass next to the units which is a major concern for rats and insects. The owners should make lots of improvements and take better care of this place. We sprayed bug and rat repellant at every seam before moving anything in just to be careful about it. Gave it a 3 overall because customer service was excellent over the phone but the place itself is more of a 2. Not a “dump” yet but getting there.
