Space Shop Self Storage - 14th Street

The partnership of Sparefoot rental storage & U-haul trucks being positioned in the same office made my moving extremely easier. Keyona Carson was both my Sparefoot and my U-haul. She was professional, informative, genuine, encouraging, and more than willing to assist!

You have to use a disk lock which they also sell. I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t know why I canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t just use another type of lock but I guess I can add to my lock collection now

Customer service could be improved. It took quite a while to actually sign the lease. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s a self storage facility so I have no idea why they close it at 10 PM. It should be at least till midnight if not 24 hours if itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s on at six, why would you shut it down at 10? It seems random, most of the people were nice but one was extremely Customer unfriendly letﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s just leave it at that

Very clean and polite staff. My only complaint is that the price I was initially quoted online was not the price I received in person, because my reservation “expired” even though I called to confirm the date of my reservation and they said it was fine. Other than that, my experience was 5/5!

Reservation was smooth. Finding the location was easy; right off the expressway. My CSR was 'Cory'. He confirmed that I indeed picked a unit that would store my items; walked me to my unit, showed me all the bells | whistles and provided a price break down. Wonderful experience overall. 5 Star service!!

The staff was more than helpful when we chose our storage unit. From helping us understand that sizes and making sure that we had enough space, down to making sure that moving our things in would be a smooth transition. My husband actually went in person for paperwork to be completed and he was also very satisfied with the assistance that he received. If we ever need a storage unit again, we would definitely consider Extra again.

Top floors of this storage facility had the temperature set to 82 degree F. We spent only 15minutes on the top floor and were already sweating. The outside temperature that day was 67 degree F. We were so glad to be out of the building. One good thing is that the building has 2 layers of security. Firstly, you can't enter the facility w/o gate access code and once you are inside, you can't take the elevator w/o your gate access code either. I love the dual layer of security! Makes me feel less worried about my storage unit.
