The place is clean and well maintained. My issue with them is that they raised the rent 27.25% with no notice after 6 months.

Storage units are very clean and in excellent condition. 3 elevators meant almost no time waiting for an elevator. Sign-up process was easy and every interaction with the staff has been friendly and positive.

I recently rented two storage units at Public Storage on Kapiolani. The facility is clean, safe and secure, and convenient to the Honolulu, Kakaﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ako, Ward, and WaiKiki areas. The best part of the experience was the staff. Kat, Sameerah, and Dora were wonderful. Because I was getting two units and moving in that same day, they made it a team effort and all jumped in to help me. They were innovative, friendly, and went out of their way to help me. Great experience!

Overall, it's a great facility. My reasons why I wouldn't give 5 stars is as follows: 1. Limit amount of carts available. For the amount of units on site, you figure there is more available. 2. Homeless people hanging out in the parking lot and around facility. I'm worried about safety for me and your employees. Thanks!

Rose who helped me down size into a smaller unit was very helpful, nice and caring. She made my transition smooth. Her friendliness is what made business all the most sweetest. The only complaint I have iwith "Public Storage" raising my unit rent twice in 1 year. Each time you raise the rent I have to continue to downsize cause rent is more than my car payment, crazy......And it's a pain in the A$$ to always be moving all my stuffs from one unit to another. SO 5 STARS FOR EMPLOYEE ROSE, BUT 1 STAR FOR RAISING A RENT AT A CRAZY PRICE FOR A SMALL SPACE. Other than that, the facility is clean.

The manager, Ray and Nohe and Joe are great and service well over the many years I have been a customer. Some other employees don't show any initiative, can't carry out a simple task to clean and sweep a unit before I rent it and just don't show any friendliness or enthusiasm for their job.
