Very good storage place and convenient

The manager was great about helping me and suggesting alternate plans about small details I hadn't taken into account. He made sure that I fully understood the charges and there was no surprise with billing.

I found this storage at the last minute. I'm a first first year U of I mom. The gentlemen in the office were very helpful and even gave me tips for next year! I'll definitely be back!

The whole move in process took about five minutes once I showed up at the office. This was the cheapest place I could find a unit available in a size that worked for me, so I was skeptical about it but it seems pretty good! Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s outside in the sun and not climate-controlled, but Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m only using it for a couple months so that shouldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t be an issue for me. Only reason I stray from 5 stars is because I called several times and never got through, so itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s a little hard to talk to the employees with questions or anything without actually showing up in person, which is inconvenient.

Needed help getting in unit as my lock was froze. Dave came out on the weekend and helped me out by giving me his own tools to get it unlocked. My classic car was saved from a downpour just in time.

The manager worked with me to find a storage solution that worked for me.

The student sized spaces (5'x'5'x5') are sufficiently sized to hold a dorm room full of items, if those items are neatly packed and orgainzed, Upper level spaces are a little harder to load, a step ladder is provided to assist, but special care is required to maintain your balance when climbing to load. The onsite staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd recommend as the space is useful, though utilitarian and the facility is conveniently located to the UIUC campus. I would strongly recommend National Mini Storage if the prices were 15-20% lower.

Amazing service and an even more amazing manager. David at the Urbana National Mini Warehouses was the best! He was not only super friendly, he went above and beyond to help me out! I had issues with the lock on my warehouse. I made one call and sorted everything out! Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve used many storage facilities and this has been my beat experience because of how helpful David was!

I highly recommend National Mini Warehouses. I spoke with a sales rep who quoted me a good price, then just minutes later I received a call from the facility manager. David was very kind and helpful. I was not sure what size unit I needed so he briefly explained what options were available along with the best prices and specials. I got exactly what I needed and started moving stuff into the unit within an hour of my initial contact with the company. Convenient location and access hours are an added benefit. If I ever need short-term or long-term storage I will definitely use NMW again!

The process of getting the storage unit was seamless and the pricing was very fair for what I needed. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the office and of the unit! Would recommend for any other college students in need of a good and trusty storage place.

Easy and great service that is fantastick

The customer service was amazing at National Mini Warehouses. The manager was helpful and knowledgeable both during my phone calls and when I was actually there. He was aware of my needs and made the entire process very easy. The storage unit was nice and easy to use too.

A little hard to find but once got there everything went smoothly. We were allowed to get our stuff in the storage while we were doing the paperwork to save ourselves some money (the guy must had recognized our rented truck) and then he let us check out ready so all paper work was done on the same day. It was clean and well kept. Very happy with it

They were very busy and needed more people working there. Long wait for service. If you make a reservation online, the manager will try to confirm the reservation but it is likely to not get a old of him to pay the deposit to keep the reservation.

Quick and fast despite the number of people showing up at the office.

only one officer in the office. he is nice but the waiting is just too long. stain on the ground of the unit and some spiders in the corners

The pricing discounts for students and the 3 month rent prices are very affordable and convenient. However, the offices get very busy after finals and there is only one person at the office. As you can imagine, this makes the waiting time extremely long and in my case, the person manning the desk became very moody and rude.

The call center staff was extremely friendly and informative. I called around to other storages in the area and they, by far, had the best prices. The location is easy to get to. The manager on site was so helpful. He made sure I was getting the right storage size to fit my needs. He was awesome. The whole experience was easy and pleasant!

Awesome service and mansgement

Just moved in but the manager there is awesome

Our in person customer service representative was incredibly rude to us. He claimed the offer we were offered online and over the phone wasn't real and that we had possibly lied about it. It took to long to process all the information after he ensured us it would only take five to seven minutes. While waiting, he spoke to the other waiting customers with utter disrespect. It was such a hassle.

Affordable, clean, friendly, would recommend.

Everything was wonderful! I was able to book my storage online which was a huge plus. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Good storage space, lots of available space

The on-site manager was super helpful. Not only did I arrive about 20 minutes before close in 0 degree weather (-30 with the windchill), but tried several locks with blowtorch before he was able to open one. He even shoveled the entrance for me. Paper work took less than 10 minutes to complete. I was very satisfied with the customer service and please that the office was open after 5pm during the week I can access my unit until 8pm nightly. Thanks!

I got there late on Christmas eve, but the owner still stayed late to help me get moved in.

its a good place to store your stuff

Although I made a reservation online, when I got there to fill out the paperwork, I was told it had been taken. This was remedied with a similar storage unit and a 50% discount, which was very much appreciated, though I did have to wait an extra day to move in.

Quick, easy, good explanations, safe, awesome

Manager was very helpful. He showed me the facility, explained all details of using it and even gave me an on-site discount. He answered all my questions. I havent still checked out of the facility so cannot comment on that experience but so far it has been good!

Just awesome!

I have never had an interaction with the employees at this warehouse that wasn't hostile and demeaning. The employee rudely talked down to me instead or simply explaining their company policies. There should be unwarranted hostility toward a customer when they ask a question. There is so no excuse for consistently poor customer service. They may have great prices, but it's only worth as much as they treat their customers.

Did the job for storing stuff over summer.

Very helpful staff and reasonable rates

I needed this space to store things during summer break. I am a student and this was the cheapest space I found with great features. However, the employee who I filled out paperwork with was completely rude, demeaning, and short. He responded to my questions by patronizing me, he did not provide me with a receipt or even a copy of my contract, and was rude to me when I asked for those copies. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by asking him to do the responsibilities of his job.
