As a UChicago student, having a storage space in Hyde Park is so so convenient. The price is a little more expensive than other facilities, but the staff is very helpful and overall my experience was very positive

They start closing about 15 minutes before the hit their official closing time. Jeff was my point of contact. He said he had to let his team leave but that he would stick around and make sure that I had my daughters items stored and secured. Unfortunately we went 1/2 an hour over and he didn't blink an eye. Thanks Jeff, you are the man!

After confirming a storage space via Sparefoot, renting a van, loading all my things and arriving at Hyde Park Self Storage, I was told that they actually have yet to figure out how to link the website to their actual space availability and sadly, that there were no spaces available. No apologies, rather they scolded us for not calling to double check, as if our faith in their online posting was absurd. We were directed to an affiliated storage space (Aaron Bros Self Storage) that was filthy and very poorly managed, but we had no choice really, given that we had already packed everything up and only rented the van for a certain amount of time. What a scam! Hyde Park Self Storage was a bust, as was SpareFoot.
