I rented the unit to store my sonﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s stuff over the summer. The process from finding the location online, called the customer service line with questions, filling out the paperwork and moving in went very well. Once I made my reservation, I received emails to confirm. On the move-in date, the process to see a unit and fill out the paperwork was slow due to Covid restrictions. The staff in the office were very efficient, friendly and responsive. The move in went quickly despite the fact that it was a busy Saturday. I would rent here again.

Everyone I spoke to on the phone and at the front desk weﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢re very friendly and helpful...they even suggested a smaller (cheaper) unit once I described what I planned on storing. The key amenities are all there...security, temperature control (between 55-85 degrees), three unloading spots with carts and elevators, easy to find parking nearby, and the use of a free moving truck for moving stuff in!! (within a ten mile radius) And with all that said I was expecting a higher rate but was very surprised and happy to see it was significantly lower than other quotes I saw. Was easily a no brainer to store my stuff with them.

I've been using Self Storage 1 for almost a year and haven't had any issues. The price is very competitive for the area, the facility is clean, and they have early morning/late night access hours which makes it convenient to swing by before or after work. The automatic bill pay is convenient, too.

Self storage is self storage. Not a lot of ways to stand out. Sign up took a lot longer than I expected. Was a little annoyed that there is a separate, mandatory $8 insurance fee if you don't have proof of home-owner's or renter's insurance. What if I am not storing anything critical and I want to waive the coverage?

When exploring self-storage options, this place caught my eye for its reasonable rates. (Also, it's conveniently located for me.) I found the staff to all be very friendly and helpful, as well. As a perk, they offer free use of their truck (15' standard box truck) for your move-in within a 20-mile roundtrip, which was very helpful for me. What a great option. (Note: They lend it for move-ins only, not move-outs.) Overall, very pleased with this place thus far.
