Public Storage - Carpentersville - 243 North Western Ave

Pulled in lady was there and shown us my spot.great place for a great price.first month only a buck can't beat that.

Shopped around a few local places and this was the best deal and just as important, the process was quick and easy. Other places took longer to describe all the extra fees and steps than this place did to actually set up and pay for the rental.

Terrific place to store your stuff

Searched online for a storage space for my travel trailer. Found the right space at Public Storage Carpentersville. I was able to reserve the space and complete all of the paperwork online. Received a text with the gate code and instructions. All accomplished in less than an hour!

I had scheduled the drop off of my trailer days in advance. When I arrived I was told there was a little snow back where I was to park the trailer. I realized too late that there was at least 8 inches of snow. I buried my truck and trailer. I spent 4 hours shoveling as I waited for the snow removal company to show up. The attendant that day was very nice, but it seems that this was out of his control. In my simple mind, I had made an appointment to drop off my trailer so it seems that management at this facility should have ensured that the snow was removed. To clarify, it had not snowed for several days so this was no surprise. I had traveled from South Dakota the day before and had planned to travel back that day. Due to this snow delay I could not get back to South Dakota and had to stay an additional night in a hotel. This failure to plan cost me in excess of $100.

Great storage facility and very helpful staff!

The Carpentersville, IL location is amazing. Samantha is a huge reason why I chose to store at this location. Her kindness and friendliness are better than anyone I have ever observed. The property is always clean and well maintained.

my only problem is the move in special they say its a dollar for the first month they started charging me right away . I should probably note that I haven't talked to them yet.

Samantha was fantastic. She got my paperwork, locks and space through so fast. The storage unit was clean, and at no point did I feel like I was rushed or forced over a barrel with "options".

Rachel was very helpful, courteous and professional. She helped me get the right unit for what I needed.

At no time during the reservation/quote process was I told that I HAD to purchase their specific padlock and insurance. If I have to sign something that states they are not liable for any theft then there is no reason for me to get those items from them. I will be removing my stuff from storage with them as soon as possible and will be sure to share with anyone and everyone not to use them for any storage needs

Quick. Easy. Friendly staff. Clean hallways in climate controlled space. Only reason not 5-stars is that the online price for the unit I selected/reserved was a slightly lower price than what it translated to when I signed everything on-site and picked up my keys. I even showed the employee the online price and she couldn't understand why they didn't match. So I'm paying slightly more than what my online booking indicated.

I was very happy with my experience with Public Storage. Helped my nephew the weekend before.

Kaylee had to work hard against Murphys Law including the computer crashing when I came in to rent. It took some time but her calm and persistence was impressive and she got me my space. Then follow up by Samantha the next business day made the customer service here hard to beat.
