Very nice unit, very clean. And I referred someone for tomorrow winters , deangelis family. Do I get 100 dollars. They are getting 10by 10 unit tomorrow.

Next Door storage units are easy to get to the large garage door units. There is enough space for a car or truck to go between the buildings. It is paved right up to the door (no gravel to run your dolly over). The price is quite reasonabe and lower than many others in the Quad Cities. Sometimes the office is "open" but no one is there, although they often post a sign that they will be back. The sign just doesn't tell you WHEN they'll return so you don't know if you should wait around or come back later. The kiosk to register or pay doesn't always work. The inside of my unit had a 12" wide trough running all around the inside walls so the floor was not flat and boxes sat rather tipped towards the walls.

Next Door Storage at Silvis, IL is convenient to the bus line, paved up to the edge of the storage unit (no gravel), priced a bit lower than other Next Door Storage location on Colona Road and hwy 92. Online ad, phone conversation, and business card state somewhat misleadingly that a free truck is included, but when I asked about it, there was a limit of $20 towards a moving truck with receipt. They did not reimburse the full moving truck amount, nor did they have free trucks for our use. Some units like ours have no handle to help lift the garage door, only a rope making it more difficult to start lifting the door on a big unit 10x20 like ours. Garage door needed lubricating, too. Surprised by depressed trough all around the inside of the unit, making it more difficult to stack boxes or furniture so it wouldn't tip towards the walls.

I needed short term storage for my daughter who attends Augustana College. I have rented from a number of facilities in both the Quad Cities as well as the Chicagoland area and I have to say this is THE most friendly, most up-front and most straight-forward rental facility I have EVER experienced! No surprises (except for a GOOD surprise opportunity to pre-pay at a lower rate than I was quoted!). I would HIGHLY recommend this facility in Silvis over any in the Quad City area! VERY SATISFIED! Thanks for being good, straight-forward and up-front! It sure is a "breath of fresh air" to know such a facility actually exists in today's world!

The space is as advertised. It has easy access and is available 24/7. No complaints so far.
