Public Storage - Merriam - 7100 W Frontage Road

I was told a different location at first so I drove around merriam lane in kck for a hour trying yo find it. I wasn't happy at all about this cuz the movers who where waiting on me. Charge me $75.00 more dollars because of wait time. They called me help me to the location. Then we were told the wrong lane and when we went down it. It was block by a big white moving truck and had to wait again. This was really wrong it was the middle lane not the last last lane. Dammit! I also ordered the 10 x 30 not the 10 x 20 that I got so had to take stuff back cuz wouldn't fit. Ugh! Bad, bad ,bad.

I never saw one person upon getting this storage.

Simple registration process, attentive staff, clean facility and easy move-in!

I was assigned a unit that was not compatible with my needs. Even though I indicated I needed boat storage, I was assigned a unit that was not accessible for a boat on a trailer. The lady on the premises Monday, 5/27 was very willing to make a unit switch but did not seem to be familiar with the computer system. The additional administrative charge due to the change of units should not have been charged to me, as the assignment was done without regard to my expressed needs. Two days later, the on-line access through the application on my phone would not work. The system displayed the message that the gate could not be found. I called the local facility and left a message but have not received a return call to date. Very dissatisfied with this storage facility customer service.

Found the storage before it opened. Downloaded the app and opened the gate at 6 am and proceeded to unload.

The storage is clean. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s a much older facility and the lot needs pot holes fixed all over it. The pricing could be better. The office staff was amazing and helpful.

The day I moved in I was NOT told or even in the description that I had to carry their mandatory insurance. I already have rental insurance and that raised a 5×10 from $44 to $59 plus tax. As I was already packed and need the stoage locked ASAP, I was really unhappy. Kinda misleading.

The office lady was awesome. I signed up online, and she called me less than 5 min later. Very clean and well kept facility. Recommend public storage to every one.

The storage manager was extremely kind and so helpful. She let me know when she is available in her office if I need any sort of help. She even know some of the other storage unit holders that she has helped before as she gave me a tour of the property and my unit.

Lindsey made sure my move-in process was easy and painless. She also made sure I had everything I needed to protect my items!

We had an awesome move-in with help from Frances at the Merriam, KS Public Storage. She is amazing. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good move-in. She gave us lots of tips about things we hadn't thought about for our storage, and gave us an awesome unit close to the gate. We love her!!

Office staff was incredibly friendly. Property was clean. My only issue is that the surface of the parking lot/roads is incredibly uneven and hilly which made our unload very tedious.

I had a locker at this location for 21 years and 9 months. When they replaced the doors and lock style, they notified me so I could be present. When I did finally move everything to my house in Eudora, Kansas, I found items I thought were lost or long gone. I was very satisfied with the management at this location.

I rented a unit for the past 2 months at this location and it was very satisfactory. The unit and the entire facility were very clean. The property was well lit at night, and is surrounded by high end car dealerships and other businesses that lend to a reputable neighborhood. The premises were secure, and I felt like my belongings were safe. Dennis the property manager is very personable and professional -- makes you aware of the extras that are available, but isn't pushy or overbearing. And he keeps a close eye on the place. The price and value were best in class for the area. If I need a storage unit in this area again, this Public Storage facility is at the top of my list.
