Public Storage - Shawnee - 12716 W 63rd Street

I feel scammed by this location do not rent a parking spot here. Almost impossible to maneuver anything bigger than a very small trailer. Thereﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s only one way in and out and the gate is hit or miss.

I was disappointed there was nobody there at the office but it was clean and it was very easy to rent online

I was very pleased with the whole facility. And granted I can access my unit without going into the gated area and I have access to my unit 24 hours which is important bc I have crazy work hours and I am constantly shuffling stuff from house to unit , unit to house.

Didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t care to be force to pay for insurance when my belongings doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t amount to much but I understand.

Reservation and Contract Process was Quick and Easy.

My disappointment is that I had reserved a 5X10, by the next morning, less than 24 hrs later it was not available. Although I had “reserved” it. So I had to get larger and pricier unit because conveniently no other 5X10 were available. That was very disappointing. “Reserving” meant nothing. I feel I should have been given the 8X10 for the 5X10 price since my “reserved” unit was given away.

It was good easy to come in really clean place it was my first time take a storage place but I can said y experience here was pretty good

Overall a good place. My facility was just difficult to maneuver my 16' box truck and the shoddy blacktop was hard to use a dolly.

I did not know that I had to have insurance!

The manager was friendly and helpful, but the facility itself only had one way in and out which made it very hard to get in and out with a trailer. Plus it closed at 9 PM, far to early for my needs.

nice clean facility, I got the unit I wanted, got a great online promotion. I called to talk with someone before reserving the unit and going in to pay for it. I specifically asked on the phone what was the total price and if there were ANY other fees. I was told there were no other fees, just the $1 first month, and the $24 admin fee. I knew I would have to purchase a lock from what I read online, but was told there were no additional fees. When I arrived to pay for the unit, I was charged a mandatory monthly $15 insurance fee. I needed the unit, and like I said, I got a good rate for it, but really felt like a bate and switch. The lady at the location was very nice and apologetic, but still, whoever I spoke to on the phone straight lied and missinformed me. thank you

When I arrived at the place, Katy was very friendly, taking a few seconds to welcome me despite being busy. Those little details make a difference in good service. Thanks Katy and always keep that good attitude

The people who helped me were nice however I have a couple of things I must say , The unit has two lights none of them are working and when asked about it I was told " no electricity connected to the unit" , the second thing is there was about 4 feet wide and about 2 inches deep of a mixture of water and ice in the front of the unit making the moving extremely difficult Mohamad almohimed 913-710-7760 Unit D 17 Thank you

Great location, Taunya the manager is super friendly and got me into my unit very fast. The property is always clean.

Staff is great, units are spacious and clean, however roads are a bit narrow so you can't navigate a uhaul past the first row upon entry unless its small.

Great experience! Glad all other reviews and came here! All my questions were answered and Tonya had best customer service ! Gate hours are from 6am to 9pm which is great . Property super clean will recommend if need storage to come here

I was contacted right away to setup an appointment, everything was clearly explained to me while I was there. The person who was there was friendly and courteous. I would definitely use Public Storage in Shawnee KS again.

Gated Storage and great experience so far. Be sure to read the fine print and compare contract options before signing. Four stars simply because gates lock at 8 p.m.

I was looking for a space fro my trailer. Since it was a small space to park a trailer in, the manager offered to let me try to park it before I singed the rental agreement. upon seeing the space I was confident I could fit the trailer so opted to not try it first. Non the less, I appreciated the no hassel opportunity

My only issue with PS was their onsite manager was not available often. We played phone tag for a week... when I went to close account, no one was there again. Patience needed.
