Public Storage - Florence - 7866 Tanners Lane

With this being a very hard time for us. We searched storage areas near us, this was the closest, cheapest, cleanest, and fastest place to get a storage unit! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a unit!

First didn't get text with gate access code. No one there in person. Chat online and got access code. Unit assigned had padlock on it. Chat online again got different unit. Insulation all molded and falling off ceiling. Quoted one price but charged another. Not told about $20 lock charge.

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve only had my unit for about two weeks now, and I have had multiple issues, for one you canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get in past 9 oﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢clock at night, and I need access to my things, I had to keep a U-Haul for like four extra days because of my schedule, and not being able to get in from 9 to 6 AM, my door broke as I was finished unloading would not lock, and you cannot fit a U-Haul without hitting the orange polls, also the customer service isnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t the greatest either because they have no one on site most of the time.

Not bad, it will be my first using your facility.

Mary was an angel, she was very nice and helpful.

I docked a star for three reasons: 1) the insulation on the ceiling of my unit is starting to decay and fall onto the items stored; 2) someone in my aisle has left a Penske truck there for days blocking several units, which worries me; and 3) the angle of the entry/exit is very sharp such that its difficult to avoid hitting a pylon when entering/exiting the gated premises.

It was an excellent experience. This being a very difficult time in my life, the lady was extremely kind as well as knowledgeable.

Mary is very knowledgeable about the property she works at. She helped us with all our moving and storing needs. I am a Public Storage customer for life.

The only thing I would suggest is replacing the rusty parts of the doors, other then that the service is good!

I wish it was 24 7 gate entry

I think it's very misleading to say, 1st month rent is free...bullsh*t! When in reality I had to pay $36.00 (Not including $15.00 for a special lock, that's required) $1 for rent.... $11.00 for insurancr... $24.00 damn move in fee...WT.F? I moved in my unit on 12/23 & already as if today 03/02 they have me owing $262.27...hows that right???? Like they're about to auction off my unit..

Great place to go. Mary was wonderful and so nice. She made sure everything I needed was taken care of.

Mary is an wonderful woman. She always makes sure everything on the property is wonderful and makes sure her customers are taking care of. I have been thru them many of times and always have amazing service.

I have used the location on Tanners lane twice prior to my current use. Each time, My husband and, I are blown away with the customer service. My husband is tough to please; however, once you win him over he stands by your business. We are preparing ourselves for our move in just 2 short days... Angie went above and beyond to make certain my husband and, I were thoroughly taken care of. We appreciate the kind of customer service we recieved and, want to thank each and everyone at this location for your professionalism.

Holley was very helpful in setting up the rental. The on line sign up for the discount rate did not work. When this problem was explained to Holley, there was no explanation of why it was a problem and no offer of the lower rate or an assist to help to sign up on line. The mandatory insurance and the requirement to use their lock, was not on the website. This should be made clear this is an additional charge. The total rental is $76.00 per month. The storage unit I had in Vandalia,Ohio was $35.00 per month for the same 5 x 10 unit and no insurance charge or lock requirement. I like the facility, but I believe pricing is higher than it could be.

We had a very good experience with the proper manager explaining the terms, assessing our storage needs, offering suggestions, and giving us a tour. We were very happy with the facility until we came back the next day and found the key pad was broken. They directed us to go through a gate around the corner that was sitting wide open and un supervisied. So much for great security! It took the facility 2-3 days to get the key code fixed.

The ladies I talked with while signing in contract and moving in where very friendly. Have had my stuff in storage for over a year now, everything is still great.

Granted, we only needed the storage unit for a short time; the unit was clean, well maintained, and easy to access. Thank you for the quick turn around.
