Self Storage Plus - Beltsville - 5050 Powder Mill Road

I had spent a month looking for secure vehicle storage, at a location convenient to me and at a reasonable price. I finally found it at the Self Storage Plus facility in Beltsville, MD. After reserving the space by phone, I visited the facility, where I was shown the available parking spot and as well as the layout and features of the facility (security, entrance and exits, restroom location) by Devin, the facility manager. When I decided to finalize my rental agreement, Devin and co-worker Micah, who were both very courteous, got me signed up. The whole process has been very easy, making for a pleasant experience.

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve been a customer here for 2 years. Besides the rates going up month to month. I do not know how and why but my personal belongings were STOLEN from this location. I figured this out at 6:20pm and there was no staff on the site to report this to.I think it was an Inside Jobﾃ｢竄ｬﾂｦ.. STAY AWAY!

I've rented here before and really liked the place, clean, overhead canopy is really great when it's raining. I left because the rent kept going up and they put a lock on the bathroom so it couldn't be used, that was tough because I was there a lot.

Clean storage units. Very secure. Very fast check-in. Customer service was outstanding. Pricing is comparable to other storage units around the area, but storage company is top notch compared to the others!!! I will return in the future!

The representative on Saturday was very helpful and polite and had lots of patience.

The representatives were all very friendly & the person that works at the facility ( unfortunately I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t remember her name) was very helpful. Only negative is that there wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t any toilet paper or paper towels in the bathroom & that I wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t told ahead of time that my locker would be up top & it was a bit difficult to get heavy items up the ladder. Overall the price & customer service were very good. We will require a unit for all of next summer so I will definitely consider yours again.

Very professional staff and clean facility.

It was all fine but there are only 2 parking space when you need to check in to the office and both were full all day even after I had checked in and was moving my stuff in. It was also difficult to locate carts to move the stuff in.

The customer service was great, the only downside was that they didnt have a lot of carts but otherwise great.

This is has to be the cleanest storage place I've Entered! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and made Everything easy for me. My move in was so smooth. I would for sure recommend this place to anyone looking.

This place saved my life I'm in the process of moving but my move in date has been pushed back forcing me to get a storage unit so I went of the search i immediately went there the customer service was amazing and whole process from start to end was smooth especially from being so stressed with my moving plans being pushed back and having to return the moving truck the same day i would definitely refer my friends here

I could not recommend this facility more strongly. We had the best experience working with Q, who went far beyond our expectations. She helped us with so many obstacles and it was all on her day off! Couldn't have asked for better customer service. And of course, the facility was gorgeous.

The supervisor was very friendly and helpful in explaining the costs and fees and giving us detailed instructions on how to access our storage unit. It was secure and easy to access and we were happy with the deal and service that we got.

The process to sign the lease and open up a new storage unit was very straightforward. They accepted my homeowner's insurance and the rate was as promised on sparefoot.com. I definitely recommend this storage facility to anybody in the College Park/Greenbelt area.

We found the storage to clean and well maintained. It's close to our apartment. The online forms were very easy to follow and fill. The on site operators were very helpful. Only suggestion would be to have the storage unit accessible till 11pm.

The storage facility is very clean, and Q (the manager) is awesome.

I got a 10' x 5' for a FRACTION of what other facilities are charging and it is on the ground floor close to the door. Clean and quiet. Helpful and Friendly. Afra was a joy to work with. I will definitely be using them for as long as I need to. And the facility is relatively new-under a year old if I'm not mistaken. No sign of rodents or any other pests. The only complaint, there were not any trash bins or garbage cans nearby. Luckily I had bags to use and carried them back with me in my car to dump elsewhere. That would be an added bonus.

My experience was absolutely amazing. The manager of this location really knows what sheﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s doing. She keeps you so well informed through the entire process you have no choice but to be confident in every decision you make with her. My expectations were exceeded. I will undoubtably recommend.

A smooth move in was had due to the friendliness and efficiency of the staff! 10/10 would recommend.

This place is really new built in 2019 and the storage place is really clean and bright. Very easy to load/unload stuff with conveniently located elevators and lodging spaces.

The management clearly cares about their facility, they are clearly very proud of it, and they work with me, as they would with any customer, to find the best rate and best unit for your needs. The move-in process was so easy and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They even contacted me after we moved in to make sure that everything went smoothly. I requested a unit, and within the same day, the manager gave me several affordable options. She showed me around the beautiful facility and made sure I knew everything I needed to. An overall very positive experience.
