We lost our unit the Friday before our equipment was to be delivered. Spare foot found us two units local to us and at a reasonable cost. The staff was polite and very helpful.

My unit is not climate controlled, which I knew at the time of my rental. I did not realize that meant that the entire building had no heating or cooling. It is a cement and metal building with no heat and timed lights. It was colder in the building than it was outside. Freezing.

The is large and spacious. They provide carts to move your stuff from your car to your unit. I have been there at different times of day feel safe under surveillance 24/7 in the well lit facility. The other customers are friendly and helpful. The staff goes out of their way to make sure your belongings are secure. Thank You

The young man that assisted me answered all of my questions. Took the time to explain everything and truly seemed to enjoy his job. He was very professional, maintained a genuine smile and attitude. It truly was a breath of fresh air how the process was from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Service was moderately quick. The unit was as described but felt a bit dank (will have to put in something to remove that) and had spider webs, dirt...it just was not cleaned out well. Overall, I am pleased and hope for a continued positive experience.

Chose this facility bc we needed storage to de clutter our house going on the market. I initially stopped in and was given a price quote of $84. I researched online and found the same $84 storage unit online for $59 a month. Wish you would also run specials like first month $ or free sign up few (we were charged $22 upon check in plus $9 per month of insurance). Only chose this faculty because i was able to get for $59 a month and it's right across the street.

It may be possible to find the same unit at a lower price, but I was impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, the security of the facility, and the accessibility of the units.

Quick and easy to move-in. Locks available for purchase on-site if needed. Large handcarts available for use to move bulky items. Clean, climate-controlled. Packing supplies also available for purchase on-site, if needed.

The facility is great. But if they turned off the telephone and locked up the office, the place couldn't survive. They said I could manage my account(s) by internet, but it simply is not true. They don't answer email, they don't provide us with all the stuff we need to establish internet accounts, and they don't go back and identify customers who said they wanted to be internet customers - but never became internet customers - and find out what happened. In my case, I gave up because their system for registering accounts just doesn't work. The management is clueless that their system doesn't work and makes no effort to reach out to customers like me. They don't want to know that it's broke and they don't want to fix it. So I pay my bills in person. If they got their Internet access fixed, and got me registered, I would give them 5 Stars.

My first time using a storage facility,so I dont have anything to compare it to.

Moved into the unit last Sunday. The gentleman with the ponytail at the front desk was friendly and informative. The place was clean and the unit was easy to find. The only thing I don't like is not having an option to decline having insurance on the unit. This is a must, you either buy theirs or bring your own policy. So the $44.00 unit is now costing me $53.00.

The price was okay. I think you should specify online that insurance is mandatory and not included in the quoted price. The storage place is okay.

Everything was fine, but the timer to set to keep the door open while I moved things in didnt work.

I researched and reserved on-line, had a call from the manager the morning of move-in to confirm, quoted the move-in price, etc. Arrived at the well-maintained property, customer service was excellent and the unit was clean, convenient and secure. Would highly recommend this facility!

The manager was away from the office when I came to sign my paperwork, but I only has to wait a few moments. Paperwork was quick and easy, including signing up for automatic payments, which I found helpful. We tested my entry code right away, and I was set to go. I like having the choice of interior vs. exterior, and climate control vs. not. I am glad I found Route 1 Self-Storage

I've been renting units here for several years, and even moved units from another facility to here because the rates and service are so good. The management team is friendly and helpful and the rates are very competitive. Gate access hours are the best in the business and the property is always kept clean!!!
