For us, computer challenged old people, online transaction is a little baffling. Please always have a person at your office during working hours; we need the extra help. The office was locked and unattended mid-day Monday 5/13. However, it is still a very conveniently located and recommendable storage facility.

The Web-based service is user friendly. The place in Rockville is very clean, good security and always accessible.

Staff was very helpful while checking in. Mobile app is handy.

Overall, the online rental process was very easy and convenient. I appreciate that the rental process was completely contactless but there were staff members available to answer any questions.

The title says it all. The app makes entry/exit easy to use, the climate control is outstanding, the facility has great security features, and most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful providing superb customer service... overall brilliant!!

I was able to book my reservation online. I came into see Aaron so he could show me where my unit was. Although I'm not a fan of being forced to use their lock when I had my own I get the concept of added security.

The only reason I gave the customer service a 5 star rating is due to the young lady who was working there the day we moved our motorcycles into our storage unit. The man that was working there was rude. I had 3 of my young grandchildren with me and as soon as I walked through the door, he immediately asked me where there masks were. I had my mask on and did not see where there was a problem nor did I expect that before I had a chance to say anything. He then ended up at the service elevator at the same time we were trying to move one of the motorcycles as our unit was underground. We had to start it up for a brief minute because it was too heavy to duck walk onto the elevator. We were trying to hurry since the elevator would time out if you did not act fast by pushing buttons. He proceeded to push the button on the elevator which caused the door to open back up and I had to start the process all over again. He really needs some customer service training if he is going to be dealing with the public on a regular basis. I didn't not appreciate it at all.

Much of my experience was fine - the storage space is clean, the people are nice, and everything has been easy to do. My complaint is about all of the hidden fees. When I made my reservation, I was given a monthly rate and a one-time administration fee. But then when I went to claim the space I was told that I had to buy a special lock (regular padlocks wouldn't work) AND I had to add monthly storage space insurance. While I understand the reasons for these things, I didn't appreciate how they popped up late in the process. If there are extra charges, just be honest about them from the beginning.

Diana was awesome at the facility. She explained everything thoroughly and ensured that the terms and conditions were clear. With the great customer service, I recommend this storage facility.

I had an awesome customer service experience with Diana for two days as I can say her manager Tracy trained her well. The way Diana was diligent in making sure my transfer was done stress free, her professionalism & her diligence was very impressive. Even the district manager Steve helped prior to my arrival in making sure my needs were met! I've been with this location for 4 years & Tracy also has done an exceptional job each time I needed help!

In addition to the rental cost and one-time admin fee, they also require monthly insurance, something they don't quite spell out until you are about to sign a contract. The only available dolly had a busted wheel and caused one of my containers to fall off during move-in. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars. Diana was very responsive and helpful and I got a great deal on a unit. Hoping the rate doesn't go up too much after six months.

Reserved a unit online, the process was very easy. The online promotion was honored with no discussion.The staff was very professional and helpful. Shay gave us a lot of advice on how to pack and store. So pleased tha I am considering taking a second unit. I highly recommend this place !!

I have really enjoyed being a tenant at this property. The Property Manager Tracy is outstanding! She is the nicest and most professional person! She and the rest of her team, provide excellent customer service and exceptional guidance if you need it. Best place ever for selecting a storage site!

Check in was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly employee. Place is clean. Would probably not go at night again. No access to carts because they were either locked up or being used.

Renting a storage unit was easy. The manager and staff were very helpful and friendly. The prices were reasonable but the mandatory monthly fee for contents insurance was a surprise that should have been explained better.

If you want your things to be well taken care of, have a wonderful manager and staff to help you with your storage needs, Public Storage is the place to go. Everyone is so helpful, caring and welcoming. The manager at 16001 Frederick Rd goes beyond the call of duty, Tracy is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
