JustStorage - Southgate

The Business aspect for move in was painless. I had my own insurance and my own lock. The price is fair for the space. The whole place is much cleaner than the Extra Space storage unit I had before this and easier to move into than any Public Storage nearby (PS has so many hoops to jump thru and lied to me) Unlike other places, I did not feel like I was being ripped off constantly. A good value and climate controlled. I heard that this facility had problems in the past with the elevator not working and my unit is on the second floor, but the day I was there it worked perfectly. The facility aisles are well lit, the unit accessible. My unit actually looked brand new and was very clean. However, there was a strong chemical smell throughout much of the second floor and elevator - strongest in the main corridor which smelled like an "industrial cleaner/deodorant in a men's room at a truck stop" which was quite noticeable by me and another female patron. We both expressed the hope that they don't continue to use whatever it is and that the smell of it goes away soon.
