Public Storage - Madison Heights - 29250 John R. Road

The staff were extremely kind, responsive and communicative in booking my reservation. The price of the storage unit I rented was half the price of local storage units of comparable size, which allowed me to book the unit I needed at a price that was accessible and affordable to me during a very time-sensitive and urgent move, which eased the immense stress and the financial burden of that move enormously. I would recommend public storage emphatically and wholeheartedly for all of your storage needs.

Overall a easy and fast experience

The customer service was excellent when I booked over the phone. The lady was excellent and explaining all details for this storage to me when I arrived at Public storage, the lady that I spoke with was very helpful and made me understand all things pertaining to my space. The price was amazing. I couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t find anything cheaper for this size. I get it at the right time for the right movie and price and it really was one dollar to move in no additional fees. I love my unit.

There was a bit of confusion at first because the website was unclear about the shape/size of the unit, but they resolved the issue in a fast and friendly manner, and even personally assisted me in relocating my items to a different spot. They also went out of their way to ensure that I still received the promotion rate. They were so accommodating and I appreciate the help I received!

The Madison heights location has great people working for them. Had it not been for them I would have gone somewhere else since I went to a different location before hand and the women was so rude I walked out.

Great experience at this location. I am new to using storage units and Lisa was great at telling me how everything works with using storage units. She took me to my unit and she walked me around inside the unit and showed me the best entrance to use and how to access the gate to come and go. Great service from beginning to end.

I pulled up, unloaded my belongings, locked my unit, and left. What more should be expected? Someone to unload for me?

Great customer service , good rates, and clean units and lot ! Manager was very friendly and knowledgeable, she did a great job !

The unit is clean and the property appears well maintained. I do think it has a lot of special safety measures in place. Only one of the two gates worked the first weekend that I went to move stuff in (the gate that was harder for me to access of course is the one that was working - not sure if it is fixed), the building smelled "skunky" the second day. I am sure the people that are checking you in have a routine they have to follow but seemed like a waste of time to have to drive to look at the size of the unit to confirm it was the right size (I went through the figuring and registration online), drive back to get a sales pitch on the packing materials and insurance (which you need to check with your insurance company - mine did a comparison and the only things PS gave were vermin protection up to $250 and a lower deductible than was on my homeowners) and sign the acknowledgements.

My only issue is the $21 lock they force you buy. UHAUL has the same lock for $9.95.

Marisa and Jamie helped me today. I moved into a 10x20 today and they helped me with the lock, Jamie came out and helped me with the lock. Once I opened the unit it was a little dirty, so I called the office and marisa came out promptly to sweep and clean everything. This is a really good company and they are an amazing team together.

I rented space here for a while some 25 years ago, when it was Shur Gard storage. What a difference today. MUCH better facility with friendly staff who know what they're talking about. Good monthly rates and a nice, wide open area for traveling within the property. Glad to be back! Bill

Found this facility because it had the best prices in the Madison Heights area and I needed to get in quick because of a short moving deadline. After contacting the facility by Internet reservation, the property manager contacted me shortly after and set up an appointment the same day. The property manager, Joyce, helped me find the exact size unit I needed and gave me a tour of the unit. She helped me get exactly what I needed and she had a great personality. The facility is clean and easily accessible. I highly recommend.

The initial call was awesome and when I met with the two young ladies well they were fabulous. Never had to place anything in storage before and they walked me through everything.

I was pleasantly pleased with my experience and have since purchased additional units at this storage facility. Reserve your units online (for best price) and then head in to the office to seal the deal. I would recommend Public Storage to other small business owners or for folks who just need a little extra space.
