Public Storage - Walled Lake - 1901 E West Maple Rd

The process was easy. Everything was ready and exactly as promised. They had the lock at the unit when I arrived. Gate access is simple with the code. It's easy to unload and there is usually no one else loading/unloading when I go, maybe one other person in the whole facility at the same time. Fair price. Easy access right off the main road.

The climate controlled storage unit I'm renting did not seem to be very warm. I don't know if the climate control was turned off or because I was going in and out while unloading. The rest room was locked and I don't know how to get a key for it.

I had a bit of trouble on-line and SAM at the Commerce store helped me figure everything out and relieved me of a lot of stress! She was great.

Indoor storage facility is super new looking and perfectly clean. The process for signing up is simple and fast.The manager is really helpful and pleasant. There are plenty of carts to borrow.

Our gate code didn’t work on Saturday morning for the big move. No one in office, sign says “we’re open” (glued to the door). Had to call Public Storage customer service multiple times after no answer from the property. After one dropped called, and no option for their customer service from the main menu, I was able to get ahold of them and they had a partner property’s manager come out and give me a code that works. Apparently they had a recent system change or something and the new system isn’t working with the online reservations.

Shawn was great. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and quick. Held the unit for us for several hours that allowed us to make our decision to go with Public.

It was very easy to finish my renting of the unit. The customer service was very nice, and showed me my unit prior to renting. Would rent here again.

Was easy to set up I own several businesses and always try to put my best foot forward. I felt that it was wrong to make me go on line to get the best price, especially after I asked if there were any specials for either AAA or AARP. You might want to reconsider your pricing policies.

We are currently renting two units at the Walled Lake facility. Blake and Shawn have been wonderful to work with, always friendly and pleasant. The second time I went into the office, Blake remembered who I was, and Shawn has called periodically to check in and make sure our move went well and units are working out for us. They have gone way above and beyond what I would have expected! The units are also clean as a whistle, and I feel very confident and comfortable having our items stored there.

I came in the office today expecting hidden fees and fine print switch up and was pleasantly surprised. Shaun the manager made the process of renting a unit simple and straight forward. Very helpful and friendly.

Blake was very patient in explaining all of the terms and conditions of the units. He was very respectful, approachable and far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this facility thanks to Blake.

Great experience with this facility. Shaun, the Property Manager, is one of the best assets to the Public Storage company and to this location. She is "Johnny on the spot" as you say. Nothing gets unanswered by her. I think she is very thorough and conscientious. Great to work with.
