I recently moved to this storage location for my business to be closer to my home. The reservation process was easy, move in day was a breeze, and they even had a more than adequate box truck for rent to assist with my move in. They have an easy to use app that helps with payments and entry and overall happy with how easy the process was.

This place is not short of amazing. The oner's are a couple that live on the property and go out of their way to help you. They truly care about the business and the people coming in. I had 3 cats and ended up homeless for a short time and she even fostered them til I found a place and now calls one of them their own. They work with you to keep you with your belongings and don't penny pintch and do anything to make a buck. This is the last place I'd of thought I'd find a couple of the truly good people left in the world but I'm happy I did

When I showed up to fill out paperwork, the office staff was very friendly. They took me to my storage unit to make sure that the size would meet my needs and then walked me through the paperwork. They were very efficient and quite helpful in answering my questions.

Very impressed with the space everything was clean and I felt my stuff is safe. The customer service was really good, all my questions were answered and I got a great price!!!

Thus far I've received what I paid for and what I thought I should get. The storage facility meets the needs and I would recommend it to anyone else.

Management is horrible Twice I have been locked out of my units First time door broke and a week and a half of it not being fixed I called corporate they had it fixed within 24hrs Next time they didn't remove a lock and I missed a flight for Chicago because I couldn't get luggage and clothing out

So sorry l cant remember the young Lady that helped me the day I moved in. But she was just Great, very professional, knowledgeable and all smiles l. Theres nothing better than great customer service today and I was very pleased she was there to help me.

Not enough carts no mirrors on ouside buildings no security cameras

other than there are not enough carts, no complaints here.

The only complaint i have is there are not enough carts to move things around.

Hi The only reason for the four stars is that the advertised free shelves were not available because they are all being used. Either get enough for each room to have one, or change the ad to say "on an available basis". that way expectations are in line with reality. Otherwise a good place, up to date and in good condition, with a very nice staff of people.

This is an all around ideal storage facility for drive up storage.

This place is wonderful! Great customer Service. Exactly what I needed for between house storage. Only downside is driving space. The buildings are close together and vehicle storage is outside by the fencing. Pick-ups, cars, small moving trucks are fine, but medium and large moving trucks make you test your driving skills.

Sparefoot allowed options and I was able to find the right storage space for my needs.Everything went well for move in. The driveway and corners are narrow and difficult to maneuver, but you have storage space in the city so it is expected.

Nice and friendly people. Glad I choose this storage location. It was a good price and not that far from my home. I like that there is a gate so that I don't have to worry about my things getting tampered with.

I was told that unit would be cleaned out before I put my stuff in and it wasn't. Had to sweep it out myself!

I had to change my move in date a couple of times due to weather, this was no problem. Staff was wonderful.

I love the location and it's easy access. Price per month for my unit is very reasonable and online payment options make this location convenient and customer friendly.

My only "complaint" is the inconvenient maneuverability within the fenced area: there's only 1 way in & out & it's very tight to maneuver your vehicle.

Very friendly & helpful. No problems. Code going in and makes me feel very secure going in at any time after dark.

The attendant took time to walk me back to the unit. The only downside is the location (heavy traffic). Pricing is competitive and shelving is provided in the unit. Discount offered on prepaid 3 months rent. Very satisfied.

Moving from California I decided on Mini U Storage on Merriman in Livonia because of the excellent reviews on this site. As a Doctor I was trained to "do no harm" and to do everything I could to help the person who sat before me. Well Melanie, the manager did everything she could to NOT help me. When I first reserved with Corporate office and was called by Melanie, she seemed very nice and accommodating. However, when we arrived for our reservation, she became very nasty almost seeming to take it personal that upack wanted to give me 3 days to unload. Melanie, it is not a character flaw that people moving cross-country might want to take 3 days to unload. As a matter of fact it is a very practical idea. Anyway, she aggressively told me my reservation was void, offered no alternative, and told my driver to get off her property. Sad to say but I think my brown skin and bushy hair had something to do with it. If you believe in treating all people fairly then don't go to this place! Thank GOD we found "Simply Self-Storage". Mr Clark did everything he could go accommodate my move.

I had enough of my rental place..( Simply Self Storage on Farmington..) and knew I had to move.I checked Google search and the first one that came up was Mini-u-Storage.I was FLOORED by the prices and they weren't even close to what I was paying.WOW..I got a GREAT deal on a storage unit and Amy was wonderful.Treated me perfect.!! Who ever writes BAD reviews is just crabby and doesn't think the process through so they just come here and slam people..too bad..I will be DEFINETLY staying and told 3 other friends about this place.I don't have to STAND outside anymore trying to unload or load my stuff in freezing weather.I'm in a building which is JUST perfect..!!

We are renting a 5' x 10' unit while selling our home & it's just a few miles away so access is convenient. I love the free shelving provided in the unit to help keep our more treasured items off the floor. Another feature that was important was interior access during the winter months. We got a nice size unit at a super affordable price. We could not have asked for a better experience; the free* truck also added to the ease of moving everything.
