Public Storage - Canton - 47887 Michigan Ave

Rented a storage unit just for no staff to be present on the office (even during supposed office hours), a gate to the outdoor units being wide open, and the discovery from another dissatisfied customer that they raise prices overtime. Avoid this place!

I've used this facility for several years and have been satisfied overall. Big appeal for me was that it's climate controlled (units are inside big multi-level building). Intake was by Karen who was very friendly & professional, as well as personable. She even offered a couple of good ideas. Access hours 6am to 9pm could be drawback for some but is otherwise reasonable. I had pleasure of seeing Karen again at end when finishing rental usage. It gave a sense of closure before going away.

When I moved in on a Saturday the office was closed even though it was supposed to be open and when I had a problem with my new lock for the door there were no one around for help. I had to contact another property manager who had to come to this property to replace my lock.

Karen was helpful and informative. Helped me in my storage and gave me an incentive as well.

They found me a storage unit at last moment. Was helpful with price. Would recommend them.

This is a large building. Our storage is closest to the office and therefore you must walk all the way across the building to access the storage. With only 2 carts and very narrow walkways, sharp curves, this is not an ideal place if you are moving furniture. There should be an access on both sides of the building for easier access. It may be fine if you are within a reasonable distance for access but I would not recommend taking the chance for a large amount of items.

Karen at the front desk was hugely helpful, friendly & animated, and instilled my confidence that this facility was my best choice.

Ron was so nice! He showed me around the storage facility & made it so easy for me to move my things in. The facility is clean and secure. The pricing was affordable and I love that they offer first months 50% off. I will definitely tell my friends and family about the facility

Karen and DuVunique (sorry if the spelling's off) were very helpful in making the whole experience quick and easy. The facility and prices were also a great find since we had to move out very quickly due to covid-19 and building shutdowns.

Overall good service. Staff was really nice and the storage was taller than expected.

I used this Public Storage to store items from my college dorm after having to move back home due to COVID-19. Both Karen and Ron were very helpful and accommodating with a time grace period for me, being that I was in a moving frenzy. I would totally recommend this location to family & friends due to the great service, clean facility, and good rates. Thank You again Ron

I did an on-line reservation and received a confirmation call from Karen right away. She was very personable and helpful over the phone. Val helped me when I arrived to sign the lease, etc. Val was OUTSTANDING, showing me where my unit was, making sure my unit was appropriately sized, and taking care to answer all my questions and explain everything thoroughly. She was friendly, professional and efficient - a great combination for good customer service. The facility is very nice - immaculate, secure, well-lit and definitely climate controlled (it was more comfortable than my house).

Val is the best! She had me in and out within 15 minutes. No time wasted great prices and very professional.

Val was very helpful and provided great customer service. The facility is very clean and you could even smell the bleach they used to clean with. This is definitely a great facility and anyone would be happy to use the storage units.

The facility is a five star. Karen the site manager provides great customer service and is very attentive. Everyone else that I have ever dealt with at this location has been very rude. They have also not been very knowledgeable about their property and the services they provide. Last week I called and asked if Karen was available and the guy answered that he was the site manager and that I could ask him. I said that I thought Karen was and he responded that she was not and that he was. Unsurprisingly he was not able to answer my questions about their policy accurately and needed assistance from the person training him. Staff changing frequently at a business is red flag to me.

Val was excellent. She went above and beyond making my day sooo much easier. If it's a five star rating... she gets a 12!! Public storage in Canton is THE BEST!

Customer service has been great!

The size of unit is perfect for the amount of storage space but I was told that I wouldn't have any problems. The last item to go into the room was 6 foot leather sofa. It took me 20 minutes to negotiate the turn of the sofa because of structural braces between the building upright beams didn't allow for adequate turning into the room. The sofa is now scuffed and ripped once I got into the room. I honestly think that this unit should have been for display only due to the tight swing area. I think your people need to advise customers who are considering a unit about the close proximity of walls and other obstacles that may cause load difficulties.
