The storage reservation was quite sample and price is very good.

I was recently in need of a temperature controlled storage unit. I went on Sparefoot to comparison shop for pricing. I did check the search box for this option. Public Storage had the best price. Due to the size of what I was moving in, I went in advance to make sure the unit would work for my needs. Upon arrival I found what I had reserved was NOT a temperature controlled unit. The staff at Public Storage was amazing. Although I was disappointed that what I had reserved wasn't what I needed, we switched to a slightly higher priced unit (still the best price) that was temperature controlled that offered the type of door to the unit which would work better for my needs. This is a new, clean facility. Customer service is top notch. I just recommend confirming your needs even after booking. I'm unclear if the mistake is on Sparefoots end or Public Storages.

There are no markers outside indicating what unit numbers are inside.

They generously held a unit and the price quoted for weeks for us. That was really appreciated since we didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t know exactly when we would be able to get our things to storage.

At first I had a hard time finding my unit. But it worked out well.

Simple process to sign paperwork, get unit number and gate code all from my phone. Best price in the area, with $1 for the forst month.

There was an initial challenge locating rental unit within the complex, but the wonderful woman behind the counter was most helpful!

I expected getting a storage unit would be a pain in the ass. Not only was it easy, but I enjoyed it? The app is super useful. We reserved it online, paid for the lock, but arrived with the truck after the office closed. They app gave us detailed instructions on where the unit was and the lock was inside! They even left out a dolly for us to use, which was invaluable. Great experience

It has modern cell phone entry or keycode which saves a lot of time. There were carts availiable. The place was squeaky clean. Bathrooms available in the storage facility on every floor. Out of using 4 different storage facilities, it was the most economical.

I was able to reserve and pay for everything online, no issues as of yet. My storage unit was clean and as advertised.

The manager was friendly and answered all my questions. The move in was easy using their flat carts could take large loads. Might be Bice to have a couple carts with uprights for mattress moving.

The process was very simple and straightforward. Pick a unit size that you need, they will show you the unit before purchasing. I got a 5x10 and they were very clean and included a lock. I was helped by Shauna, who went out of her way to find a unit that was closer to the elevator which I really thought was kind. Would have her help me anytime, 5 stars! They have a Bluetooth feature on their app that allows you to bypass having to continuously enter you access code which is nice.

Easy experience and a great price

I made the reservation online, met with the representative the next day and toured the storage facility. All my questions were answered and explained clearly.

I have never rented a storage unit before so this is a new experience for me. The place is very clean and very secure. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I feel that they take security very seriously. You have to put a code in 3 times before you get to your inside unit and you have to use it once before you exit. I had not put my lock on the unit after first going to it because there was nothing in it. They secured it themselves because they did not want anyone else to go in there. I highly recommend this facility.

I was very happy with working with the staff. Especially Sam, who is an exceptional leader, who was helping train staff on computer. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make himself available to help me. When he saw I was alone and I needed assistance with moving a couple of items into cart and into my locker, he assisted right away, with a smile on his face and attitude to boot by saying he was happy to help me because he saw I was by myself and needed assistance! He absolutely deserves a raise!!! Customers can be facing many challenges in life and to have an exceptional, caring and respectful staff goes a long way to the customer. I will absolutely recommend many people to this particular Public Storage facility.

This is a newer facility so it is extremely clean. Also Jessica at the customer service desk is very helpful. I would definitely recommend using this facility.

I reserved two units online after speaking with a pleasant gentleman at the facility. Later I received a rude call from a woman named Sarah. She was pushy, talked fast, tried to charge me more, and wouldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t honor my second reservation at the price I reserved it for. When I got there she continued to be rude. She acted as if it was my job to help me out instead of hers. She rushed me through directions and then was rude when I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t understand. Then she had attitude when I told her I was under the impression that I had paid for a lock online before finally giving me a lock. The facility looked nice, except my unit had a visible leak. I am willing to work with the space, but only at the price I was quoted. I have screenshots of my reservations and photos of the leak. If someone can help me, my mind might change. But right now, Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m only here because I had a short amount of time to move my storage due to my grandmothers passing and her house being sold. All in all, if I were you I would look elsewhere.

This is a horribly run company. Dont ever lose your key, as you will be relentlessly punished. Its been 10 days since i reported losing the keys and i have heard nothing! Basically its only one person who can cut the lock amongst many district! That is unacceptable ! I sent an email on the corp site and have not heard back from it. I also called cust service and they gave me a district managers and it goes only to a voicemail, so i havent been able to talk to her. Alone from all the fees that are not on the website when you get there after you book it. Do yourself a favor and go elswhere.

Sarah and the rest of the staff are great. Great facility, clean. Only negatives are the mandatory lock purchase, mandatory administration fee, and the mandatory insurance. They don't tell you about these fees until you've already started all the contract stuff. I would have gone elsewhere if I had know about the fees, as it cost way more than I planned on. If I hadn't needed the storage Unit the next day, I never would have agreed to these outrageous fees.

Zavion is an outstanding employee. Knowledgeable, helpful and exemplary manners. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to assist me. The administrative paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. Zavion also showed me several units to better suit my needs. He is definitely an asset to this company.

The only thing that is annoying is that we cannot use the Dolly's/carts after hours. They get locked up at 5 or 6. The Dolly's/ are chained up. We are on a second floor and we had to carry boxes one by one. The carts are locked up after 6. There should be a code to be able to use these. My poor back. Its frustrating. They should unlock them. If they are worried about them being stolen can't they look at their cameras? I need to use the dolly/cart after hours.

I have had a very positive experience with the Public Storage unit and the personnel. Other than the placement of the keypads (having to exit the vehicle both to go in and out of the gate-weather in MI is yucky) ..everything is great!

I have to say Dale was hands down one of the best customer service professionals I have ever dealt with. He was very welcoming and he walked me through the entire process with pure professionalism. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs storage place because of him. Also he has great taste in music which made the experience that much better.

It would be great if a lot more companies had people working in customer related work were as professional/knowledgeable and customer friendly as Scott and Del. Very customer oriented. I did not want to take the storage space I saw because I felt it was a little too small but because of the friendliness and the great attitude from Del I decided to go ahead and take the space and if I need I could move to a bigger space. I visited three different self storage places with the last week and found this one the cleanest. Also, the prices were competitive. Thank you to Scott and Kara for showing me around and answering my questions.

Our move in went smoothly and the people there are very nice and helpful. However, the door to our unit does not stay up so it continues to fall on you as you are carrying things in. The door needs to stay up as it is impossible for one person to move things in without another person to hold up the door.

The person in charge was extremely helpful and a fun man to work with in getting my unit. Would recommend this place for anyone who wanted a self storage unit.

First, the $1 advertisement is a come on. Only applies to "certain units." the 10 x 20 unit we rented costs $186 per month including insurance. The unit we rented has a defective roll door. It will not stay in the full open position. This is a hazard to anyone going in or out. We did not complain as our stuff was already mostly unloaded by the movers. Otherwise the unit is clean and apparently dry. The manager was pleasant.

I went in with my son on a day I needed to move a lot of stuff from my work into storage and it was all done so fast and easily. The location and property were all clean and easy to get to even if it wasn't just a mile from my office, it'd still be a great place to use since it's near Rochester Road, on Big Beaver and near I75.
